Job Description: 

Job Summary

The successful candidate for this position will play a key role in supporting all the initiatives of BAU COE and provides advanced analytics support for credit risk stress testing insights. Plays a key role in executing the stress test models in relation to CIB and Central & Others (excluding treasury) in the Bank’s stress test exercises. He/She will be responsible for maintenance, execution & enhancement of a suite of credit risk models. 
This will include Bank-of-England (BOE), Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP), Management Stress Tests, Country Stress Tests etc. 
Responsible for the stress testing data reconciliations and help in resolving data issues working with Data and IT team.
Reconcile and Validate the submission of Structured Template Data (STDF) Templates, as per the requirements set out by the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) in the Bank of England (BoE) stress test.
Ensure compliance with the Operational Risk Framework requirements and that quantitative controls are in place and executed in full.
Manage all correspondence via their nominated work stream leads, support functions and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with governance related aspects of EST production and delivery
This is a rapidly evolving space so the role holder must be comfortable with ambiguity and change. 

Key Responsibilities

•    The profile requires person should support in generating stress projections of CIB and C&O books. Bring insights to support decision making and provide financial view to support to all the Enterprise-wide Stress testing initiatives like implementation of Group Stress Testing Models and results.
Strategy
•     Support to build hub as centre of excellence in generating the state-of-the-art stress projections, carry out analytics to decipher insights from FPP reports, balance sheets, ensure analytics practice being established and deployed effectively in GBS. 
Business
•    The role holder is responsible for the following in undertaking the role:
•    Deliver on the Credit Risk requirements for the Enterprise-wide Stress Testing (EST) exercises across the Group
•    Carry out the EST stress testing analytics work for Retail Clients, Private Banking and Corporate and Institutional clients.
•    Ensure compliance to EST procedures, methodologies and controls.
•    Manage any all-governance related aspects of the execution of credit risk testing
•    Support development and maintenance of underlying models to enhance credit risk stress testing methodology.
•    Deliver adequate documentation on stress testing methodology subject to management, model validation, audit & regulatory scrutiny.
•    Deliver on the operational risk framework for the credit risk stress test process.
•    Work collaboratively with line manager support covering a wide range of stakeholders, across all seniority levels, to address urgent and strategic Finance management needs, conduct analytics and identify drivers of change in stress tests results

Qualifications

•     Graduation/BE/B. tech/MBA/MSC Stats, Chartered Accountant, Post-Graduation in Finance.
•    Hands-on experience in handling Finance data and best practices in data management   
•    Excellent written and oral communication skills at all levels (i.e. colleagues to senior management) and situations (i.e. one-on-one to presentations)
General Skill Set:
•    Strong knowledge in Data Analytics
•    Awareness of trading environment, macroeconomic fundamentals, market moves & potential impact on exposures. 
•    Excellent communication skills - verbal and written 
•    Ability to work under pressure 
•    Have excellent attention to detail 
•    Be able to work in a global team 
•    Expertise in programming language is not required but good to have
•    Working knowledge in MS Excel, SAS, Python, Tableau, R 
•    Knowledge about Finance  and various business products
•    Knowledge of Wholesale and Retail Credit Risk and Stress Testing  
•    Documentation skills
•    Working knowledge of the Group’s businesses, governance structure and approach to risk management.
•    Experience in team admin tasks/cost controller/project accountant role with familiarity to SCB project management standards / tools would be a distinct advantage
•    Experience in Agile framework
