Summary
• Responsible for Finance performance management, analytics, reporting, and planning, with end-to-end ownership of financial activities.
Key Responsibilities
Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management
• Act as a Finance Business Partner to senior leaders and functions, supporting financial performance and decision-making.
• Translate financial data into clear business narratives and messaging for stakeholders.
• Manage stakeholder engagement, including escalation handling and alignment across teams.
Financial Management & Reporting
• Oversee key financial processes including budgeting, planning & forecasting, management reporting, financial and variance analysis.
• Ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness (TAT) of all financial outputs and ad hoc deliverables.
• Collaborate closely with Accounting, Standard Reporting, and Planning & Control teams.
Performance Management & Analytics
• Deliver high-quality management information (MI) and analytics to drive performance insights and outcomes.
• Support senior leadership with data-driven insights to improve business financials.
Process Optimization & Efficiency
• Drive process improvements, productivity enhancements, and operational efficiency across the team.
• Lead optimization initiatives across GCFO India and CIB to streamline processes and ensure seamless execution.
• Continuously review end-to-end processes to identify and implement efficiency opportunities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
• Provide guidance, support, and oversight to team members to maintain high performance and quality standards.
• Collaborate with team leaders and Global Financial Services teams to ensure smooth operations and effective coordination.
Governance & Compliance
• Ensure adherence to all applicable regulations, company and group policies.
• Uphold organizational values and maintain strong governance across all financial activities.
Strategy
• Deliver insightful & actionable Analytics. Covering all financials including returns as well as identifying and articulating key risks to senior management to drive decision making
Business
Being a effective Finance Business Partner, responsible to provide:
• Standard Performance MI with insights on current performance
• Analytics Deep dive on Business Performance to drive consistent and sustainable above and beyond business performance
• Partnership with Business Heads and CFOs to drive and manage Country Performance via agreed metrices
Processes
Being a Functional owner of the FPA process, responsible for:
• Champion of the process and able to connect front to back with complete process ownership
• Implementing industry best practices on Performance Management, Forecasting and Business Analytics
• Driving Continuous process improvement which drives efficiency and better control in all the FP&A
• Collaborating with other Business Performance leads to ensure standard and consistent MI is delivered to business across CIB
Risk Management
• Represent BPO in-Service Review engagements with CFOs, provide management insights and address any CFO level actions from the Review meetings
• Act to minimize operational loss and audit failures and take proactive measures to respond to matters arising and identify and manage forward looking risks.
• Through assignment of direct and indirect reports, establish and maintain an appropriate framework and procedures for monitoring, identifying, measuring, assessing, reporting, and managing compliance, regulatory, financial crime, operational and reputational risks
Governance
• Build and review Governance framework around Standard MI, internal controls, adherence to policy to adherence to agreed risk appetite.
Regulatory & Business Conduct

Qualifications
• 15+ years of experience in multinational financial services, with a focus on performance management
• Strong understanding of CIB financials, especially corporate banking and large global institutions
• Proven stakeholder management skills with ability to anticipate business needs and manage delivery
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, conveying analysis clearly and confidently
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for analytics and reporting
• Strong analytical capability to handle and derive insights from large, complex data sets
• Experience working across global, virtual teams in multi-location environments
• Strong commercial acumen with deep understanding of banking and financial services
• Ability to link macroeconomic trends to P&L and balance sheet performance
• Track record of leading strategic finance initiatives (e.g., RWA, balance sheet optimization, revenue growth)
• Strategic mindset with expertise in FP&A, decision-making, risk assessment, and operational control
• High-impact leadership traits: stakeholder influence, change/program management, resilience, and results orientation
