Job Summary

Standard Chartered needs a delivery lead to drive the success of intraday liquidity journey. This role sits within Treasury Technology team and will work closely with Treasury, Treasury Services, Treasury Technology and Change teams.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Accountable - Develop delivery and release plans with technical dependencies, aligning all partners with support from the team and architect.
•    Responsible - Alignment of technology strategy to business strategy
•    Responsible - Negotiate, plan and manage all portfolio release activities and ensure alignment across key partners and vendors.

Business
•    Accountable – Alignment of upstream and downstream to Strategic Implementation for Intraday Liquidity
•    Responsible – Own, coordinate and monitor product delivery involving multiple squads and interfaces
•    Informed – Awareness of IDL methodologies and the impact to the bank’s business
•    Accountable – Orchestrate deployments, issue resolution, and signoffs in partnership with the IT engineers.
•    Responsible – Drafting and circulating clear communication plans to keep all stakeholders informed of the upcoming changes, progress and adjustments to the timelines or implementation plans.

Processes
•    Review and assess release and path to production processes for improvement opportunities (e.g. simplification or automation).
•    Measure, monitor & publish metrics to establish maturity model of release management function.
•    Responsible for Go-Live activities including execution of deployment plans & publish lessons learnt. 

People & Talent
•    Responsible – Building and maintaining strong technologists and technology leaders
•    Accountable – Overall people leadership responsibility for technology teams with diverse skill sets, including budgeting, interviewing, hiring, coaching and developing more T-shaped/ M-shaped colleagues.
•    Responsible – Ensuring squads are adequately resourced and fully funded

Risk Management
•    Responsible - Management of third-party risks related to usage of vendors and associated technologies
•    Accountable – Understands and manages capacity and resiliency of systems

Governance
•    Ensure releases adhere to Change Delivery Standards, ITSM and ESDLC.
•    Own and address tech compliance (ESDLC) requirements throughout the delivery lifecycle (design reviews, security reviews, SAT, OAT, etc.) with support from PO/Chief PO/Hive Tech Lead. 
•    Ensure all release artefacts and assurance deliverables are as per the required standards and policies.
•    Govern hygiene of releases & manage relevant communication of release schedules.

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. •    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications

•    Standard SCB e-SDLC process trainings to be completed
•    Standard TTO new joiner training is applicable.
•    All mandatory eLearning is expected to be completed in the first 60 days of onboarding.
