Title: An'yst, Regulatory Compliance

Job Summary
This is a temporary role that primarily involves the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly regulatory reports to the Securities and Exchange Commission and the National Pensions Regulatory Authority. Advance knowledge of macros will be an added advantage.
Portfolio Valuation Investigations
- Work with Trustees, Fund Managers and Fund admins on portfolio discrepancy investigations.
- Share issue details and ticket numbers identified during investigations with support and the relevant teams for analysis and client engagement.
- Provide weekly summaries on all closed positions, including detailed information on positions and any open issues encountered, with supporting evidence.
- Develop and maintain a strong working relationships with fund managers, trustees and administrative officers to ensure quick turnaround.
- Carry out any other responsibilities as assigned by the Head, Financing Securities Services Operations.
Regulatory Reporting Support
- Prepare letters to client to request details for regulatory reporting
- Perform maker role for portfolio validation in preparation for regulatory reports.
- Escalation of exceptions to the Manager/Head of Financing, Securities Services Ops.
Key Responsibilities
Processes
Ensure that unit is working effectively, that necessary resources are available to the businesses and that costs are regularly reviewed and monitored to prevent waste.
Risk Management
Comply with Operational Risk Management and Controls.
Ensure all reconciliation are investigated timely, controls are effectively exercised over all operational procedures to prevent frauds and avoid losses to the Bank.
Governance
Manage and ensure compliance to all established procedures, regulations and the Group Custody Policy Guide. Keep the Business Head and Regional Head of Securities Services, advised of financial and any extraordinary developments.
Ensure accurate and timely submissions of management and local regulatory returns
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
Skills and Experience
Candidate must have working knowledge of Excel and Macros.
