Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    The Credit mate platform is undergoing significant change across multiple regulatory and risk programmes running concurrently in Q3 and Q4. Given the volume, complexity, and compliance critical nature of these deliveries, it is essential to have dedicated engineering resources who can own and drive these programmes to completion within the required timelines.

To manage this effectively, it is essential to have resources who can:
•    Own end-to-end delivery of regulatory and risk features within committed timelines
•    Ensure technical accuracy and compliance alignment across interconnected programmes
•    Minimise delivery risk on programmes that carry direct financial and reputational consequences for the bank

•    This role will be central to ensuring on time regulatory delivery, technical accuracy, and compliance alignment by coordinating across multiple credit platforms and workstreams and will play a key part in driving the bank's regulatory and risk obligations through to completion in Q3 and Q4.

•    In depth knowledge of IDE, language and toolset in language of choice. 
•    Excellent understanding of language & framework and a good working knowledge of the abstraction layer underneath 
•     Understanding of threads, threading model and concurrent programming 
•     Can profile and optimize code 
•     Good knowledge of other programming languages & paradigms and when to apply them 
•     Comfortable debugging/finding complex problems

Design: 
•    Can identify and apply appropriate design patterns to problems. 
•    Comfortable developing large features 
•    Understands Idempotence 
    

Skills and Experience

Must-have Skills
•    Java/ J2EE, Quarkus, Kojito frameworks, BPMN
•    Spring Boot – Java-based framework to create Micro Service.
•    UI Development – using frameworks like REACT, Lit frameworks
Other Skills
•    OCP, SKE and OpenShift expertise

Qualifications
