JOB SUMMARY

The collection strategy and governance team is a centre of excellence and is integral to the collection team in implementation of sustainable collections and recovery operations to deliver on operational and loss performance, productively, outstanding rationalization and controls.

Be part of a team that continues to find ways to enhance of collections and recovery capability and the driving of optimization and efficiency. We endeavour to balance between technical capability and business understanding to identify opportunities and find solutions. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

•    Establish a well-suited and effective collection strategy aligned with the portfolio’s size and risk profile.
•    Design and implement innovative initiatives to meet collection and recovery targets, including LI budgeting and forecasting.
•    Maintain credit losses within acceptable limits while maximizing the business’s economic profits through sustainable growth.
•    Drive cost reduction in credit operations by enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of credit processes and strategies.
•    Oversee daily and weekly collection reports, ensuring timely delivery with exceptional accuracy.
•    Lead continuous process enhancements, advance collection techniques, upgrade tools, and optimize collection systems.
•    Act as the collection representative in both country and group-level system and change projects, ensuring smooth transitions for collection workflows.
•    Manage the validation of collection-related regulatory reports, including Debt Collection Agency reports, manual bureau submissions, and debt restructuring documentation.
