Job Description: 

Job Summary

  • The Job Holder’s responsibilities is to ensure smooth operations and having systems ready for next day trade
  • Conversant with current Trade & settlement, Pledge & Unpledged Procedures/ Regulatory guidelines
  • Overseeing Trade and EOD /BOD activities
  • Monitoring daily /weekly/monthly/Annual reporting, ensuring adherence to regulations
  • Implementing new regulations/products by ensuring UAT and sign off to Live movement.
  • Exchange Audits, Exchange queries (offsite inspections) regulatory reporting to Exchange, SEBI in conjunction with Compliance
  • Trade Reconciliation, Recon, ensuring correct brokerage and regulatory charges.
  • To ensure error free processing of requests
  • To ensure Maker / Checker role in all relevant Backoffice Application roles for seamless process
  • Knowledge of Depository to interact with relevant team towards settlement, trades, Corporate Action, Pledge, Re- Pledge etc

  • To ensure processing all requests within the timeline defined by Regulators, Group and the process note.
  • Co-ordination with Auditors / Inspection team for Operation activities
  • Compliance with the SEBI, Exchange and Group standards and rules & regulations of the Company and the Group at all times
  • To ensure that complaints and enquires are resolved/responded and analysed with RCA.
  • Preparing the documents and response based on Prohibitory / Attachment orders.
  • Provide information to all internal / external stake holder(s) in timely manner.
  • Evaluate & implement business /regulatory requirements along with stake holders and have understanding of Regulatory impact.
  • Exception handling

Skills and Experience

  • Graduate. Supplementary certifications related to Capital Markets preferred.
  • Prior experience of 1-3 years preferably in areas related to Capital Markets/Finance.
  • Good domain knowledge of functioning of Capital Markets.
  • Good knowledge of Broking and basic working knowledge of MS Office & process management
  • Strong “people’ Skills
  • Cross team collaboration – Proactive engagement with Business Units and all responsible persons in the unit.
  • The ability to communicate to different levels within the organization and take the issues to closure

Qualifications

  • Any Graduate with more than 5 years of experience in Capital Market / Broking firm and knowledge of Exchange & SEBI regulations.
  • CERTIFICATIONS: NISM VII
