Job Description: 

Job Summary

•     Provide end-to-end production and application support services, ensuring high availability, stability, and operational efficiency of business-critical systems. 
•     Possess strong knowledge of lending domain processes, loan lifecycle management, accounting principles, and financial transaction postings. 
•     Collaborate with business and technology teams to support service delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy:
•    Encourage adoption of best practices in production support, incident management, problem management, change management, and risk governance to enhance overall service performance.

Business: 
•    Possess strong knowledge of lending domain processes, loan lifecycle management, accounting principles, financial transaction postings, and reconciliation processes, with the ability to analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve complex business and system-related issues effectively.
•    Provide end-to-end production and application support services, ensuring high availability, stability, performance, and operational efficiency of business-critical systems.
•    Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, service requests, and application issues within agreed service level objectives.
•    Support change, release, and deployment activities while ensuring compliance with established governance, risk, security, and control requirements.
•    Collaborate with business users, project teams, infrastructure teams, vendors, and support functions to deliver timely issue resolution, service restoration, and continuous service improvements.
•    Perform root cause analysis, problem management, and preventive maintenance activities to reduce recurring incidents, improve system reliability, and enhance operational resilience.
•    Contribute to process automation, operational excellence, knowledge management, and continuous improvement initiatives to improve service efficiency and support effectiveness.
•    Possess self-initiative and work with minimal supervision.
•    Possess strong knowledge of Azure DevOps (ADO) tools, CI/CD pipelines, release management, deployment processes, and change governance, with the ability to support end-to-end software delivery and production implementation activities
•    Hands-on experience with enterprise job scheduling and workload automation tools such as Control-M; knowledge of Apache Airflow would be an added advantage.

•    Manage production incidents, service requests, and problem tickets, ensuring timely resolution and service restoration. 
•    Support change, release, and deployment activities in compliance with governance, risk, and control requirements. 
•    Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures to improve system stability and operational efficiency. 
•    Collaborate with business, technology, infrastructure, and vendor teams to ensure seamless service delivery and continuous improvement.

Risk Management
•    Promote a proactive risk management culture by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks early, ensuring timely resolution and minimizing operational impact.

Qualifications

•    Strong understanding of Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, with hands-on experience in query development, performance analysis, data investigation, backend data corrections, and troubleshooting production issues.
•    Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Framework-based applications, including application flow analysis, log investigation, deployment support, and production issue resolution.
•    Proficient in Unix/Linux shell scripting, batch processing, job scheduling, automation, and operational support activities.
•    Good understanding of middleware and enterprise integration technologies, including messaging platforms such as Solace, interface monitoring, message flow analysis, and integration troubleshooting.
•    Strong functional knowledge of lending domain processes, loan lifecycle management, financial accounting principles, transaction postings, reconciliations, and related banking operations.
•    7+ years of experience in application production support, incident management, problem management, change implementation, and operational support of business-critical applications.
•    Proven experience in interacting with business users, project teams, vendors, and technology stakeholders through effective verbal and written communication.
