Role Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Test Engineer with 5-8 years of experience in software testing and quality engineering in Temenos T24 application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring application quality through comprehensive test planning, execution, automation, defect management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Test Planning & Design
Analyze business and functional requirements.
Create Test Strategy, Test Plans, Test Scenarios, Test Cases, and Test Data.
Ensure complete test coverage for functional and non-functional requirements.
Test Execution
Perform Functional, Integration, System, Regression, End-to-End testing.
Validate application behaviour against business requirements.
Execute test cycles and provide status updates to stakeholders.
Defect Management
Identify, log, track, and retest defects.
Perform root cause analysis and work closely with development teams for resolution.
Participate in defect triage and quality review sessions.
Automation Testing
Develop and maintain automation frameworks and scripts.
Automate regression and smoke test suites.
Support CI/CD integration and continuous testing initiatives.
API & Database Testing
Validate APIs using tools such as Postman/REST Assured.
Perform backend database validation using SQL queries.
Ensure data integrity across systems.
Agile Delivery
Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, Product Owners, and DevOps teams.
Contribute to quality improvements across the SDLC.
Reporting & Metrics
Prepare test execution reports and quality dashboards.
Track testing progress, defect leakage, and coverage metrics.
Provide quality sign-off recommendations for releases

Experience
5-8 years of experience in Software Testing / Quality Engineering.
Solid knowledge of T24 application focussing on Securities, Lending, AA modules
Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments.

Qualifications
