Job Responsibilities
- Work with key business stakeholders to develop and execute marketing initiatives that helps to stand out the Bank’s position in the marketplace and drive marketing activities accordingly to fulfil business needs
- Assist in the overall management of the annual strategic marketing planning exercise in conjunction with the business to ensure key business deliverables are met.
- Event execution: organising seminars, conferences, client hospitality events approved in the marketing plan to the highest levels of professionalism, consistent with the differentiated experience per client segment on time and budget
- Source and manage external marketing agencies to support event management, content creation and development as appropriate
- Support Global initiatives that land in Hong Kong by working closely with business and Group Marketing team.
- Partner with group CIB Marketing team members to ensure marketing programmes are seamlessly executed in line with global standards and that proper measures are established to track effectiveness of all marketing deliverables.
- Familiar with the digital marketing & social media landscape in Hong Kong
- Ongoing tracking and monitoring of activity results, to ensure ROI is measured and can provide a basis for informing future marketing decision making
- Track and analyse competitors’ marketing activities and present findings and recommend any strategic realignments required
- Familiar with internal processes and support the team’s governance

- Cluster and Group CIB Marketing Heads for alignment of regional and global marketing strategy
- CIB Segments and Product teams for marketing initiatives strategic direction and coordination
- CEO office for marketing initiatives coordination
- Global Sourcing for procurement advice on vendor engagement & employment of service
- Finance for bill payment and cost centre transactions
- Legal and Compliance for expert advice on marketing initiatives and clearance of marketing materials
- External Partners – Event Agency / Production house / Media Agency for expert advice on development of client engagement strategy and creative execution
- External Partners – Strategic Alliance for development & execution of joint marketing initiatives
Job Requirements
- Languages: English & Cantonese – fluent; Mandarin – preferred but not necessary
- Preferably to have experience of B2B marketing or professional services marketing
- Preferably to have at least 8 years of work experience, preferably in the financial services industry with a track record of implementing successfully marketing initiatives
- Comfortable in interfacing with external clients
- Superior influencing and negotiation skills
- Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Willing to travel
