Job Description: 

Job Summary

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting
•    Perform due diligence reviews for CRS (Common Reporting Standard), FATCA (Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act) and CKYC (Central KYC Registry).
•    Assess customer information to determine correct FATCA classification and CRS tax residency.
•    Ensure timely and accurate regulatory filings to the Income Tax Department.
•    Validate KYC and tax documentation—W-8BEN, W-9, others, self-certifications, KYC documents.
Data Quality & Governance
•    Conduct periodic checks to ensure adherence to internal controls and regulatory standards.
•    Monitor data quality on CKYC uploads and resolve data mismatches, rejections, and errors.
•    Support creation and updates of internal policies, SOPs, and checklists.
Operational Activities
•    Review account for FATCA/CRS/CKYC compliance.
•    Coordinate with Operations, Compliance, Risk, and Front Office to resolve documentation issues.
Risk Management
•    Assist in internal and external audits related to FATCA/CRS/CKYC.
•    Help assess regulatory changes and their impact on the organization.
Stakeholder Management
•    Work with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of compliance processes.
•    Support customer communication for documentation and remediation.
•    Required Skills & Competencies

Key Responsibilities

Technical Knowledge
•    Strong knowledge of FATCA regulations and classification rules.
•    Understanding of CRS reporting, tax residency rules, and due diligence requirements.
•    Familiarity with CKYC processes, KYC norms, and documentation standards (PAN, Aadhaar, OVDs).
•    Experience with reporting tools and CKYC upload portals.
•    Good understanding of account types (individual, corporate, trusts) and tax forms.
Analytical & Operational Skills
•    Strong analytical ability to assess complex documentation.
•    Accuracy and attention to detail.
Tools & Technology
•    Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
•    Experience with banking compliance systems, AML/KYC tools, or core banking platforms.
Behavioural Skills
•    Good communication and coordination skills.
•    Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple tasks.
•    Strong ethical and compliance-driven attitude.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Graduate in Finance/Commerce/Business Administration.
