Job Summary

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, ambitious and business minded individual for our multi-product Financial Markets Corporate Sales team in Paris, France covering a broad range of solutions for Foreign Exchange, Rates and Commodity risk management and Liquidity solutions. The role we are looking for is for a level up to Associate Director.

In that role you will be responsible for managing the large cap multinational corporate clients headquartered in Continental Europe.

The primary goals will be to become a strong addition to the SCB team, achieve both team and individual sales targets across our Financial Markets franchise while serving as the main point of contact for customers within the Financial Markets department.

In terms of products, you will be responsible for originating and executing any FX, Rates, Money Market and Commodity product including asset-based financing, structured investments and even Financial Markets Lending.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Strengthen and grow the Bank’s relationships with our corporate clients
  • Financial Market products (FX, Rates, Money Market, Commodities) targets and entry point for all SCB departments into your client relationships
  • Collaborate with clients alongside stakeholders from other departments and FM internal teams from various sales regions, Research, and Trading to gain a comprehensive understanding of each prospective client’s business needs, and to develop an engagement strategy tailored to those needs
  • Build productive working relationships with clients' key decision makers through calls, visits, and providing relevant ideas to become a trusted external resource in their decision-making process regarding financial market instruments
  • Evaluate potential new client relationships and their wallets to follow through with origination of new revenue streams
  • Ensure diligent coverage of daily flow business, meeting all required standards and procedures
  • Support the automation of product offerings to clients
  • Focus on cross-asset and cross-border collaboration to maximize client service and returns – working together as one team.
  • Lead client engagement efforts for RWA optimization to enhance the overall FM product RORWA
  • Work with FM Structuring to provide optimized and tailored client solutions

Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Technology, or a related field  
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a similar role within the financial services industry, with a strong focus on client-facing solutions
  • Proven track record of working with diverse client segments, including financial services counterparties and sophisticated market participants
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience covering Commercial Banking, Global Markets, Lending, and Securities Services
  • Solid understanding of Client Lifecycle Management (CLM) principles and their application in a complex financial institution
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making
  • Fluency in French and English.
