Job Description: 

Job Summary

•    Act as the single point of intake for marketing requests from different business units, clarifying objectives, target audience, proposition, mandatory messages and success measures.
•    Lead end-to-end campaign material development with the internal agency (concept to production), managing workflow, priorities, approvals and on-time delivery across multiple stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Translate business requirements into clear creative briefs (and translate creative recommendations back into business language), ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, budget and deliverables.
•    Partner with campaign owners to track performance and learnings (KPIs, response, engagement), and feed insights back into creative optimization and future briefs. 


Business
•    Provide strong creative and aesthetic judgment to uphold brand standards across channels (digital, social, and CRM), ensuring materials are clear, compliant and audience-relevant.
•    Manage senior stakeholder expectations, resolve conflicts in priorities, and ensure alignment of deliverables with business goals.

 

Processes
•    Lead and coordinate workflow, priorities, approvals and on-time delivery across multiple stakeholders for campaign material development.
•    Continuously improve ways of working to increase efficiency, consistency and quality of creative delivery.


People & Talent 
•    Collaborate effectively with internal agency teams, campaign owners and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver high-quality creative outcomes.
•    Influence stakeholders with clear communication, sound judgment and a solutions-oriented mindset.

 

Risk Management
•    Ensure all deliverables meet internal policies, legal and compliance requirements.
•    Identify and address risks related to scope, timelines, approvals and brand compliance during campaign development.

 

Governance 
•    Establish governance for creative development, including briefing templates, review checkpoints and version control.
•    Maintain clear accountability, decision-making discipline and quality standards across the campaign delivery lifecycle.

•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
•    Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
•    Lead the DS&M and Marketing Team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Fair Outcomes for Clients; Effective Financial Markets; Financial Crime Compliance; The Right Environment. 
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
•    Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

Qualifications

  • University degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in marketing communications/campaign delivery, with strong creative agency (or in-house creative studio) exposure; banking/financial services experience is an advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business goals into strong briefs and translate creative concepts into clear, commercial recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Strong creative and aesthetic judgment with a proven track record of reviewing and elevating creative output across formats (copy, key visuals, layouts, motion/video).
  • Good understanding of marketing channels and production considerations across digital and social.
  • Clear-minded, business-oriented and detail-attentive; able to work under pressure, navigate ambiguity, and influence across functions with a solutions mindset.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
