Key Responsibilities
• Oversee the team to meet insurance sales targets and objectives outlined on scorecards while adhering to operational and compliance standards.
• Guide and monitor the team to achieve assigned insurance revenue goals by developing effective sales strategies and tactics.
• Identify business opportunities and risks; plan, initiate, and execute appropriate sales strategies to optimize business performance.
• Foster a positive work environment that encourages team members’ commitment and contribution through career development opportunities, training programs, and continuous two-way communication and management support.
• Build a strong, capable team and maintain a stable, high-quality workforce.
• Enhance team collaboration by cultivating robust internal and external networks.
Ideal candidate
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong experience in insurance sales, with at least 5 years from Retail Banking or Wealth Management organisations.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
- Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
- Solid understanding of insurance products, sales processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
