Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to join our Global Cash Sales team with Standard Chartered Bank in San Francisco, reporting to the Cash Management Sales Head. The candidate will have dual responsibilities within Global Transaction Sales for US headquartered Technology, Media and Telecom (TMT) clients. 1) The candidate will identify, source and execute using the global cash management platform while to deepen client penetration. The candidate’s success will be contingent upon working closely with Banking coverage, product, implementation, and service teams. 2) The candidate will also be responsible for supporting senior sales leadership on revenue accretive projects and data delivery related to cash management, liquidity, and transactional FX solutions for both existing and prospective clients.
The experienced candidate will develop close relationships with the key client cash management influencers to identify and execute on opportunities through a deep understanding of client business needs, global footprint, and key buying centres. We appreciate self driven candidates who have an entrepreneurial spirit while focusing on customer needs and accelerating growth.
Key Criteria:
• At least 4 years of relevant Cash Management Sales Experience with Global Corporates. Experience in the TMT sector is preferred
• A deep knowledge of transaction banking products with an emphasis on cash management, liquidity and digital payments
• Proficient in data analysis and sales presentation development
• The gravitas to lead client engagements (face to face and virtual) with some travel required
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
Responsible for delivering against the Americas and Global Cash Management objectives via client management and sales support. This includes targeting new segments, growing an existing portfolio of clients, driving new solution initiatives, and develop thought leadership messaging to meet client needs. In addition:
• Execute activities are in line with sales pipeline policy and ensure end-to-end sales discipline
• Provide analytical support of current business and opportunities as well as lead one-off projects aimed at advancing the cash management platform with TMT clients
• A ‘client first’ mentality with clear focus on sales activity and revenue
Business
Manage and grow revenues for assigned client portfolio. Provide business reporting to senior management, including pipeline reviews, key client wins, and industry/ market developments.
• Understand client needs and pain points and engage key influencers and decision makers (internally and externally) to develop targeted proposals and pitches
• Help structure innovative and complex cash management solutions while working with internal sales and product partners teams as
needed on select topics (digital payments, tokenized collections, transactional FX, cash visibility and forecasting, pooling and liquidity management, digital innovation)
• Develop and cocreate cash (payments/collections), liquidity and transactional FX solutions with clients.
• Partner with Sales, Coverage and Product across the bank’s network markets to drive revenue and defend existing business
Processes
• Use sales tools (CRMx, Compass, pricing platform, liquidity reporting, revenue reporting) as part of the sales discipline process. Ensure all sales discipline and regulatory requirements are adhered to.

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• Federal Reserve Bank of the US, Automated Clearing House (ACH), and all internal compliance and regulatory committees within SCB.
Qualifications
• 4+ Years experience in Transaction Banking or Treasury Services
• Proven experience working in a client-facing environment, supporting senior sales and relationship management teams.
• Proficiency with CRM platforms and AI driven tools/technologies.
• Experience with sales support and pipeline management tools such as COMPASS is preferred.
• Bachelors Degree Required
• CTP / CertICM certification preferred

Recruitment Assessments
Expected annual base pay range for the role is 124,000 USD to 155,000 USD. The final offer will be determined on an individualised basis using a number of variables, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience and education, internal relativity, and specific work location. At Standard Chartered Bank, Base pay is only part of the total compensation package.
