Job Summary
• Seated alongside Treasury Markets on the trading floor, act as central point of contact for Treasury as well as other businesses and operations teams within Singapore and around the globe.
• Primary purpose is to support the forecasting and intraday liquidity management of the bank’s central bank a/c at the MAS
Key Responsibilities
• Be responsible and accountable for real time nostro management processes that include:
• Intraday liquidity monitoring and management of the firm’s central bank accounts in the MEPs+ system.
• Calculation and provision of funding forecasts to Treasury Markets in line with agreed cutoffs on an intraday basis. Provision of root cause analysis on key funding drivers and forecast swings.
• Proactive management of payment scheduling systems to ensure the firm’s throughput requirements as well as time critical payments are met
• Monitoring MEPS+ to facilitate compliance with all regulatory requirements such as MCB and GPS, raising any issues to Treasury Markets on a timely basis
• Reconciliation of forecasted vs actual nostro settlements in near real time.
• Immediate investigation of reconciliation exceptions and alerts
• Being a key business partner and support mechanism to Treasury Markets to ensure effective real time funding and liquidity management decision-making.
• Proactive account management across all accounts held for SCB Singapore including payment switches across accounts to manage liquidity and funding
• Provision of Nostro MIS and control reports to support Treasury Markets in the measurement and management of intraday liquidity related risks.
• Engage with Treasury Markets to further identify opportunities to enhance the operational support model.
• Be responsible / accountable / consulted / informed in providing inputs regarding any process / system changes in the Treasury Services function / related upstream & downstream functions. This will include taking a central role in the development and roll out of the new intraday liquidity platform in Singapore
• Be responsible /accountable /consulted / informed re initiatives to bring in client centricity in the overall process universe of the unit, as applicable.
• Work within the global Treasury Services team to assist in the build out of the Treasury Services Target Operating Model within the group Network and Nostro Management organisation.
• Engage with and support global initiatives where required.
• Ensure 100% compliance at all times to the group’s risk management framework as applicable Governance
• Comply with all the group standards, policies, procedures and guidelines as applicable and values of the Bank at all times.

Our Ideal Candidate
• 10 year's relevant experience in any Banking operations
• 2 years’ experience of funding and liquidity management
• Prior people manager experience
• Good verbal & written Business communication
