Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled AI & ML Cyber Expert to join our Information and Cyber Security function. This role will focus on supporting the organization’s AI and ML initiatives by assessing security risks, implementing best practices, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in cybersecurity, AI/ML systems, data privacy, model security, adversarial machine learning, and AI governance frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
•    Support the CISO in developing and socializing the AI/ML Cyber Security Strategy with relevant technology and business teams.
•    Responsible for the execution and implementation of the AI/ML Security Strategy across the organization.
•    Drive the adoption of secure AI/ML development and deployment practices.

Business
•     Serve as the focal point for AI/ML cyber security matters.
•    Engage with business and technology stakeholders to ensure AI/ML security is embedded in all relevant initiatives.
•    Identify, document, and manage cyber risks associated with AI/ML systems, including monitoring the closure of findings.
•    Educate senior executives and teams on AI/ML cyber risks to drive accountability.
•    Work in an Agile environment to drive continuous improvement and perform security impact assessments for AI/ML projects.
•    Address audit and regulatory queries related to AI/ML security strategy, standards, controls, and tools.

Processes
•     Lead and drive collaboration across functions, regions, and countries to ensure secure AI/ML practices.

People & Talent
•    Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills, managing multiple deadlines and collaborating with peers.

Risk Management
•    Assess security risks associated with AI/ML initiatives, including data poisoning, model theft, adversarial attacks, and privacy risks.
•    Develop and implement security frameworks, policies, and controls for AI/ML systems and data pipelines.
•    Conduct threat modelling, risk assessments, and security reviews of AI/ML platforms, models, and data.
•    Collaborate with technology, risk, compliance, and business teams to integrate security into AI/ML solution design and deployment.

•    Monitor emerging threats and vulnerabilities targeting AI/ML systems and provide proactive risk mitigation strategies.
•    Support regulatory compliance efforts by aligning AI/ML security practices with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
•    Participate in incident response and forensic investigations involving AI/ML-related security events.
•    Engage with industry bodies, regulators, and research communities to stay ahead of AI/ML security trends.
•    Review and assess the effectiveness of AI/ML security implementation and control design.
•    Governance - Ensure key AI/ML cyber risks and issues are monitored and addressed by stakeholders.
•    Governance - Ensure security controls are adopted in new AI/ML technologies and projects.

Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or a related field.
•    8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with a strong focus on AI/ML, data science, or technology security.
•    Hands-on experience with AI/ML security, adversarial machine learning, and data privacy.
•    Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001) and AI/ML security best practices.
•    Familiarity with regulatory requirements for AI/ML in the financial sector (e.g., GDPR, AI Act).
•    Experience with security tools and technologies, including model monitoring, data protection, and threat detection for AI/ML systems.
•    Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•    Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or AI/ML-related credentials (e.g., Certified AI Security Professional, Google Cloud ML Security) are a plus.
•    Languages-English
