Processes
• Provide inputs, support and challenge process or operating model to constantly identify opportunities on simplification and delivery efficiency.
• Define standards to ensure that applications are designed with scale, resilience, and performance in mind.
• Enforce and streamline sound development practices and establish and maintain effective governance processes including training, advice, and support, to assure the platforms are developed, implemented, and maintained aligning with the Group’s standards
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning & Delivery Management –
• Responsible for developing and coordinating with implementation teams, complex integration activities
• Coordinate and manage across all technology teams involved in the project ensuring teams are engaged with a clear remit
• Demonstrate exceptional project governance ensuring project controls are clearly understood and complied with and look for opportunities for control improvements, or simplification where appropriate manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning
• Follow SCB processes to onboard third party products and work with Risk owners , Manage technology engagement with vendors and external entities as part of the project
• Use JIRA /Confluence as collaboration tool
Team Management –
• Assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments
• Removing roadblocks to engineering team’s work which includes liaising with dependant parties like interface teams;
• Helping the development team avoid or remove impediments to progress / Mitigating and resolving risks and issues which may impair delivery.
• Build relationships and partner with teams internal and external
Team Building –
• Promote empowerment of the team, ensure that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making a meaningful contribution, and encourage a sustainable pace with high-levels of quality for the team
Stakeholders management-
• Work closely with Product Owners and Process Owners and relevant stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet the project objectives

• Mentor and coach individuals and develop the community of technical talent.
• Drive creation and provide ongoing input and support for the delivery of technology talent programmes.

Risk Management
• Responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks for investment projects as well for new application build-out.
• Identify / address key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the Group Technology Policy, Standards and Enterprise Risk management framework
• Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge peers effectively; and Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.
• Work with program management office and 2nd line of defence teams to ensure portfolio governance are well managed.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
