JOB SUMMARY
Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Developer to build upon and drive forward an ongoing project focused on creating a unified User Desktop Experience and a Server Side UI Driven framework to accelerate application delivery. This role is pivotal in driving integration with other teams and enhancing user experience. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software design, team leadership, and a passion for creating seamless, user-friendly applications. Additionally, the candidate should have demonstrable experience in building and selling strategic initiatives, and a strong curiousity in the development of GenAI tools to speed up delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Leadership:
• Build upon and advance the ongoing project, ensuring continuity and progress.
• Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship.
• Ensure project milestones and deadlines are met, and deliverables are of high quality.
2. Integration and Collaboration:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX/UI designers, product managers, and other developers to ensure seamless integration of the project.
• Drive the integration of the project with other internal systems and platforms, ensuring compatibility and efficiency.
3. User Experience Improvement:
• Focus on enhancing the user experience by implementing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Gather and analyze user feedback to continuously improve the application and address user needs effectively.
4. Technical Excellence:
• Develop and maintain high-quality code, ensuring best practices and coding standards are followed.
• Enhance and build upon our Server Side UI Driven framework to streamline application delivery and improve performance.
• Develop and integrate GenAI tools to enhance and speed up application delivery, leveraging the latest advancements in artificial intelligence.
5. Strategy Development and Execution:
• Build and articulate a clear strategy for the ongoing project, aligning with business goals and objectives.
• Demonstrate experience in selling the strategy to stakeholders and securing buy-in.
• Continuously evaluate and adjust the strategy based on project progress, feedback, and changing business needs.
6. Innovation and Problem-Solving:
• Identify and address technical challenges and bottlenecks, ensuring the project remains on track.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep the project at the forefront of innovation.
7. Production Deployment:
• Demonstrate experience in deploying solutions to production in an enterprise environment.
• Ensure zero-defect tolerance due to the high demands of a stable production environment.
• Maintain and monitor the production environment to ensure stability and performance, with hundreds of users dependent on it.
Person Specification:
1. Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a lead developer role, preferably in a financial or technology-driven environment.
• Strong background in software development with expertise in relevant programming languages and frameworks.
• Demonstrable experience in building and selling strategic initiatives.
• Extensive experience in deploying solutions to production in an enterprise environment with a zero-defect tolerance.
2. Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with UI/UX design principles and frameworks.
• Expertise in React, ag-Grid, Material UI, TypeScript, HighCharts, Websockets, REST APIs, WebWorkers, WebAPIs and SSO/OAuth
• Experience with Ansible and CI/CD pipelines.
• Knowledge of server-side development and integration.
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools.
• Experience in developing and integrating GenAI tools.
3. Leadership and Communication:
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into non-technical terms for diverse audiences.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and implementing solutions.
