Job Summary
- Site reliability for Catalyst includes automating daily tasks, servicing customer tickets, troubleshooting issues and being on-call.
- Setup, maintain and service the Catalyst – a system of integrated processes, services, tools, and hardware for improving developer productivity. Assume and inculcate a customer-first culture in all aspects of work. Engage customers to define outcome and collaborate with everyone with a one-team attitude to accomplish set goals
Key Responsibilities
Processes
- Responsible for Site reliability of developer factory.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
- Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
- Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
- Lead the DevFactory SRE team to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank’s Conduct Principles: Outcomes for Clients
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters
Other Responsibilities
- Automate tasks to help DevOps, support teams and end customers
- Fixing support escalation issues
- Optimizing on-call rotations & processes
- Documenting team knowledge
- Conducting post-incident reviews
Our Ideal Candidate should have:-
- Candidate having at minimum 8 years of experience in DevOps Pipelines
- Hands on experience in writing code using Java/Python will be added advantage
- Hands on experience in any scripting language as Bash or python
- Able to run End-to-End pipeline using any stack
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL
- Experience in running web applications at scale on Kubernetes platform
- Experience in ELK stack with data instrumentation & Telemetry
- Knowledge of database systems like SQL & Postgre SQL
- Troubleshooting techniques and fixing the code bugs
- Experience working on Linux based infrastructure
- Proficiency with Bitbucket, Git and GitHub workflows
