Job Summary
Securities Services Stability and Governance lead.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Lead major incident response process, ensure timely detection/resolution and enforce rigorous postmortem practices with corrective action tracking.
• Implement and continuously improve governance structures, simplify processes and standards.
• Regularly conduct stability and governance risk assessments including change-related, third party, compliance risks and drive remediation strategies.
• Drive system-wide reliability by leading work on availability, performance monitoring, capacity planning and proactive prevention of Incidents.
• Define and enforce change management practices (ex: controlled rollouts, avoiding failed changes) to minimize deployment-induced instability.
• Build and maintain observability tooling and dashboards that surface reliability, compliance and governance posture to stakeholders; report on trends, violations and opportunities to improve.
• Establish, maintain and evolve service level objectives, operation level objectives and associated policies to balance stability.
• Ensure that reliability and governance efforts support broader strategic goals.
• Focus on data centre migrations and improving/simplifying the overall infrastructure and observability.
• Ensure minimal incidents or outages during critical migrations with focus on stability.
• Experience in contract management, renewals and working with third party vendors. Should be familiar with contract management tools (from SAP) and approval/renewal of risk controls.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Primarily to ensure System Stability and Governance of FSS applications.
Business
• Awareness and understanding of Financing in Securities Services. Expertise in managing Custody applications with good knowledge of Settlement processing, Post trade and Corporate Actions.

• Should be aware of ITIL processes – Incident, Problem, Change, Knowledge and Event Management
People & Talent
• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values.
Risk Management
• The ability to interpret and identify key issues within the FSS applications and put in place appropriate controls and measures.
Governance
• Align processes with business strategy, improving process and operating model, Managing the changing of a culture, decision making and establishing the centre of excellence
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
