Job Summary

The primary focus of the role is to deliver analytics projects within the WRB Analytics. The individual will be responsible for end-to-end analytics solution development, deployment, performance assessment etc. Also provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert to design and recommend appropriate analytical solution in addressing key issues within the business. A solid understanding of statistical analysis both Frequentist and Bayesian is a requirement. A good understating of packages like pymc3 is a plus.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Strategy

  • The primary focus of the role is to deliver analytics projects within the WRB Analytics. The individual will be responsible for end-to-end analytics solution development, deployment, performance assessment etc. Also provides thought leadership and acts as a subject matter expert to design and recommend appropriate analytical solution in addressing key issues within the business 
  • Create a best-in-class solutions for marketing performance, engaging with all priority markets, sharing best practices with the aim to develop better practices
  • Develop and manage in collaboration with CABM stakeholders, the marketing budgeting / allocation methodology with analysis and metrics across the Bank

Business

  • Pilot attribution/brand modelling across marketing touchpoints, demonstrating opportunities for optimising marketing investments and collaborate with markets to realise these
  • Using data and insights, create opportunities to streamline client marketing journeys eg identify client trigger points for perception and behaviour change across paid, earned and owned media
  • Partner with the WRB business teams in seeking cost productivity and efficiency gains
  • Develop, manage and report ROMI analysis of top 20% (80% spend) markets’ marketing, establishing standardised post-campaign-reviews
  • End- to End development, analysis and interpretation of MMM models
  • Develop and manage Post Campaign Reviews for all global WRB Brand & Marketing activity
  • Collaborate with CABM colleagues to create a single version of the truth for performance marketing
  • Develop inhouse real-time capability for A-B testing of key messages on creatives, and establish testing protocols to drive outcomes 

Processes

  • Continuously review in and out of category marketing to WRB clients, identifying marketing effectiveness insights to leverage / integrate into our plans
  • Lead development of marketing activity tracking to collate effectiveness results across markets for internal benchmarking to create insights to grow across WRB activity
  • Lead end-to-end design and development of media Mix Marketing solutions for different KPIs across markets

People & Talent 

  • Champion and act as role model of the group’s values
  • Driving an environment of collaboration, both within WRB Banking and across the wider Group, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner 

Risk Management

  • Interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures
  • Ensure data security and data sharing in secured way through SharePoint in password protected files

Governance 

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
