Title: Associate Director, WRB Model Development

Job Summary
• This role will involve driving delivery of IRB Models (PD, LGD and EAD) for Retail and SME portfolios of Standard Chartered Bank for various regulators (PRA, HKMA, MAS, BNM and FSS). The individual is expected to drive 1-3 engagements at any given time with support from junior and senior analysts and also be hands-on at all times.
• Responsibilities include understanding Standard Chartered Group requirements and working with the team in developing statistically derived predictive models, performing decision tree-based customer segmentation and profiling analyses, assisting business implementation of sophisticated risk models and providing analytic support to Standard Chartered Businesses across the globe.
• The individual is expected to drive timely delivery with assigned resources on an engagement, while ensuring compliance to prevailing / applicable standards / legislation / policies

Skills and Experience
Credit Risk Modelling
Qualifications
• 4 to 7 years of hands-on experience in areas of Credit Risk Model Development (preferably IRB, IFRS9, CCAR or CECL) for Consumer and/or Small Business Lending. Individuals with experience only in scorecard development can also apply.
• Exposure to statistical programming skills in SAS (preferred) or Python or similar tools
• Experience in directly interacting with Business and exposure to international markets will be a plus
• Bachelors / Advanced (Masters or higher) degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, MBA or other quantitative discipline
