RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategy

  • The primary focus of the role is to deliver analytics projects within the CCPL (Credit cards and Personal Loan) Analytics team. The individual will be responsible for end to end analytics solution development, deployment, performance assessment etc across credit card customer lifecycle. The incumbent will be expected to work fairly independently and in close collaboration with business partners to drive multiple projects parallelly.

Business

  • Professional with analytics experience preferably in Credit Card Domain
  • Hands on experience in P&L modelling/forecasting 
  • Prior experience in working across cards customer lifecycle such as early account management, balance build initiatives, spend engagement/stimulation, rewards management, retention strategies etc
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of data into meaningful insights and drive actionable strategies in card services
  • Interact regularly with business units, understand business goals and priorities and play the role of an effective partner to devise strategies with customer focused analysis and performance to realize growth opportunities
  • Self-driven, ability to work independently, and strong problem-solving skills
  • Must have experience in analytical tools like SAS or SQL, and experience in R, Python etc would be an added advantage
  • Exposure to BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI, MicroStrategy etc will be an added advantage

  • Continuously improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of processes
  • Ensure effective management of operational risks within the function and compliance with applicable internal policies, and external laws and regulations

People & Talent

  • Champion and act as role model of the group’s values
  • Driving an environment of collaboration, both within CPBB Banking and across the wider Group, to ensure issues are raised and blockages are resolved in a timely manner 

Risk Management

  • Interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures
  • Ensure data security and data sharing in secured way through SharePoint in password protected files

Governance

  • Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role

  • Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct. 
  • Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
