JOB SUMMARY
• To maintain high quality Client Static Data in SCI and TP system.
• To manage the relationship between CPC and the business units as well as between other team members within CLM.
• To co-ordinate with respective CPC and ensure that all activities are completed as per agreed Service Level Agreement.
• To manage the resources allocated to the unit in an efficient manner.
• Maximizing the productivity of the team
• Compliance with all relevant Group Policies related to CLM / CDD as applicable
• Compliance with the Group Money Laundering Prevention Policy
• Compliance with Group Operational Risk procedures
• To ensure error free work with no operating losses
• To provide guidance to team members on operational issues.
• To function as a single point escalation for the country supported by them for all CLM related activities.
• Assist in coordinating, facilitating and promoting understanding of Operational Risk and in implementation and management of OR within the Unit.
• Drive performance of the hubs against agreed performance and risk metrics and associated thresholds
• Direct and develop the hub teams to adhere to and follow CLM strategy and support the group driven initiative across all hubs and teams
• Managing a team of highly efficient people responsible for CLM
• Function as an independent controller in CLM Activities.
• Ensure that there is no operational loss in his / her area of control
• Work as a Relationship Manager for the respective CPC’s.
• Ensure the smooth running of CLM at all times by effective supervision.
• Ensure that SLAs are periodically reviewed with country and other operational units.
• Ensure that system access controls are followed as per IT Security Policy.
• Ensure BCP / BIA is in place and tested at periodic intervals.
• Attend Service Review Meetings and provide inputs
• Ensure that the unit is adequately staffed to meet the business needs
• Ensure that appropriate initiatives are taken to meet the cost stretch targets allocated.
• Identify and escalate risk issues as per ORMA Policy.
• Implement suitable mitigations for the identified risk issues.
• Ensure Departmental Operating Instructions are reviewed and updated periodically.
• Ensure Learning & Development Plans are in place for all team members.
• Ensure adequate training (on the job, soft skill, etc.) is provided to all staff members.
• To report unit’s Operational Risk issues and losses to UORM & Unit Head.
• To assist UORM in developing and updating of procedures, controls and monitoring plans for Operational
Risk Management
• Act as OR coordinator for the section
• To adhere to the agreed CST plans and approach
• To identify and report all exceptions on non compliance with standard controls
• To identify and report all weaknesses inherent in the standard controls
• To maintain proper record keeping on all CST related activities
• Ensure proper training is given to team members whenever required.
• Ensure backup staff is identified and trained.
• Ensure timely completion of all e-Learning Courses
• Ensure system user list reports are checked periodically for validating the system access rights.
• Increase staff awareness on the risks involved in all the processes through class room training, on the job training, PRA, etc.
• Ensure performance appraisals are done for the team as per HR Policy.
• Accurate checking & Maintenance of Customer Profile Data (ex., ISIC codes, CRG, Address, ARM codes, X-Reference etc) in Static Data systems (like SCI, CMS, GM SCI FM, CBS etc) & TP systems (Hogan, IMEX, OTP, LTP etc)
• Accurate checking & maintenance of limits loaded in SCI
• Ensure that all system IDs for a particular customer are cross referred in SCI system.
• Proper maintenance of SCI with regard to Customer Profile and other relevant fields
• Ensure CDD Guidelines are adhered to at all times.
• Ensure proper updating on completion status of daily Instructions and submission of EOD to CPC.
• Adhering to laid down Operating Procedures and Group Risk Policies at all times.
• Ensure that Productivity/ MIS are updated accurately and immediately after the completion of processing the respective transaction.
• Ensure that Key Control Standards are adhered to.
• Ensure the smooth running of CLM at all times by effective supervision.
• Ensure adherence of clean desk policy of Scope.

• Reference the processes for which the Role Holder is responsible, as per the Operational Risk Framework definition of first / second line, for example, Responsible for executing and supervising the Budget process.
People & Talent
• Reference all responsibilities related to people and talent matters, for example:
• Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from their team and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
• Ensure the provision of ongoing training and development of people, and ensure that holders of all critical functions are suitably skilled and qualified for their roles ensuring that they have effective supervision in place to mitigate any risks.
• Employ, engage and retain high quality people, with succession planning for critical roles.
• Responsibility to review team structure/capacity plans.
• Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives.
Risk Management
• Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them. For example -The ability to interpret the Group’s financial information, identify key issues based on this information and put in place appropriate controls and measures
• All responsibilities under the Risk Management Framework – both execution and supervisory – should be referenced, for example, Act as the [Process] risk control owner under the Group’s Risk Management Framework (including relevant Operational Risk Framework ownership for [Liquidity] risk.
Governance
• Responsibilities relating to the direction, planning, structure, frameworks (e.g. processes and policies) and oversight. For example, Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas; Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
