Strategy

 

  • Act a key subject matter expert on API Banking with the knowledge on markets, regulations, product, and customer personas. For eg ISO, Payment transparency etc 
  • Deep understanding of banking products, payment gateway and the entire banking platform and its functionality
  • Define business requirements and API specifications. Help design, document and maintain system processes
  • Responsible for implementing API Banking solutions covering cash, trade, financial markets and securities space 
  • Deep understanding of our client’s business requests and gather insights to drive product strategy and solution
  • Clearly understand and articulate the requirements that supports the development of products, features and functionality.
  • Analyse APIs of banks (competitors), Fintechs to build a strategic roadmap for API Banking
  • Collaborate with the cross functional teams within the Bank (Channels, Cash products, Country teams) 
  • Provide suggestions for functional improvements time to time
  • Has a strong understanding of product financials and ensure that product delivers expected revenue targets
  • Setting goals to development team and managing the execution and deliverables from the Squad
  • Assist Development /testing team/ for any functional queries


 

Governance

 

  • Ensure product compliance on Group standard for Audit, Control and financial reporting
  • Maintain the product programmes as per product governance guideline
  • Act as a liaison with the local risk committees

  • Embed Here for good and Group’s brand and values in team; Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats);

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience with a proven track record of success in the business analysis or product development or space
  • Skills Proven track record in leading and implementing digitalization and/or transformation initiatives in corporate and institutional banking, including driving client adoption of digital channels and increasing share of revenue via electronic channels.
  • Good understanding of the product development lifecycle using Agile Methodology and relevant prior experience in drafting vision statements, epics and user stories, use case documents, solution papers, business workflow documents and high-level functional flows.
  • Deep understanding of the corporate banking domain with a profound ability to conceive and design end-to-end product flows, define interface requirements, identify relevant operational processes and clearly articulate these flows and processes to the relevant business and technology workgroups.
  • A skilled negotiator with an ability to work across all organization levels
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8-10 years’ experience with a proven track record of success in business analysis, product development or project management.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science or equivalent practical experience. 
  • Training / working knowledge in digital / fintech product development and lifecycle
  • Post-secondary technical or business degree / MBA is a strong asset.
