Job Description: 

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled finance professional with 10+ years of experience (Product Control experience preferred) with in-depth knowledge in IFRS 9 & IFRS 15 to help with new deal review and revenue recognition. Candidate should have proven track record in establishing controls, stakeholder management, audit engagement, leading projects and representing PC in wider finance forums along with reviewing BAU, ensuring on-time delivery, team management and escalations management.

•    Manage a team managing Stressed Assets accounting and controls dealing across products
•    Responsible for the daily P&L controls and analysis Non-Performing clients across various products.
•    Responsible for Credit loss provision, Interest & Income releases for Non-Performing clients.
•    Creation of independent process to substantiate ledger balances along with reconciliation to Subledger balances.
•    Production of timely and accurate Management Information reports relating Non-Performing clients .
•    Deep understanding for review and revenue recognition in line with IFRS9 & IFRS15 accounting standards.
•    Analysis and reasoning of Daily, Weekly and month Income fluctuations across the countries and Balance Sheet Movement for Non Performing Clients.
•    Actively engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions and representing PC on various forums. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Responsible to oversee and review the BAU controls, reporting, and escalation process. 
•    Establishing best practice across various PC process, streamlining and automation. 
•    Review of Key Control Indicators (KCI) and Control Sample Testing (CST). 
•    Supporting control & governance, external audits and regulators queries. 
•    Support new business initiative and help execute on management strategies.
•    Lead project delivery and represent Product Control in project forums.

•    Leverage upon knowledge and skills sitting with other teams at same location or similar team sitting across the globe.
•    Enable movement of people as and when required to manage resourcing across Product Control.

Key stakeholders
•    Regular face off with Business, Product Control Management, Regional finance team and various internal stakeholders within GCFO.
•    Act as a point of reference for team members and internal clients.
•    Manage relationship with internal stakeholders, take regular feedback, anticipate, and understand issues and escalate appropriately for timely resolution
•    Manage strong relationship with support teams (IT, Operations and Risk) and bring synergies by interacting and integrating with cross functional teams

Qualifications

•   CA,CFA,ACCA or MBA (Finance) from a reputed institution.
•   Strong Leadership skills and ability to manage teams
•   Excellent people and resource management skills
•   Ideal candidate must have overall 10+years of experience, across PC, FC, Corporate Finance preferably with Big4 with latest 3 years in PC.
•   Good understanding of Accounting and IFRS
•   Analytical skills, hands on experience with PeopleSoft financials, SAP & MS Office will be an added advantage.
•   Strong Control mindset.
