            Title: Associate Vice President GCM Financing Product Control

Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily P&L production and analysis along with ensuring integrity of Balance-Sheet of Banking Book Products.
 - New deal review and revenue recognition in line with IFRS9 & IFRS15 accounting standards.
 - Net Interest Margin analysis of banking book portfolio.
 - Actively engaging with stakeholders across multiple functions and representing PC on various forums.
 - Responsible to oversee and review the BAU controls, reporting, and escalation process.
 - Production of periodic MI pack with commentaries.
 - Establishing best practice across various PC process, streamlining and automation.
 - Supervise, mentor and provide leadership to the existing team.
 - Review of Key Control Indicators (KCI) and Control Sample Testing (CST).
 - Supporting control & governance, external audits and regulators queries.
 - Support new business initiative and help execute on management strategies.
 - Lead project delivery and represent Product Control in project forums.

•    Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values. Set appropriate tone and expectations from team members and work in collaboration with risk and control partners.
•    Research market best practice and keep abreast of the evolving issues e.g. XVA, IBOR Transition, etc. that affect the valuation of the Rates and XVA business.
•    Mentor junior members of the team in their career aspirations
•    Provide thought leadership and take accountability from Bangalore on different initiatives spanning – Technology (SABRE, Aspire, Razor, Stride), Regulatory (IBOR, ViR ).
Business
•    Effectively manage relationships across departments and the desk.
•    Ability to discuss, present and explain valuation results with senior business management
•    Management experience 
•    To manage a business function, providing significant input to function wide strategic initiatives. Contribute to and influence policy and procedures for the function and plan, manage and consult on multiple complex and critical strategic projects, which may be business wide
Processes
- Set and monitor job descriptions and objectives for direct reports and provide feedback and rewards in line with their performance against those responsibilities and objectives. Provide thought leadership and take accountability from Bangalore on different initiatives spanning – Technology (SABRE, Aspire, Razor, Stride), Regulatory (IBOR, ViR )
 - Review of Key Control Indicators (KCI) and Control Sample Testing (CST).
 - Supporting control & governance, external audits and regulators queries.

Key Stakeholders
•   Regular face off with Traders, Product Control Management, Regional finance team and various internal stakeholders within GFS.
•   Act as a point of reference for team members and internal clients.
•   Manage relationship with internal stakeholders, take regular feedback, anticipate and understand issues and escalate appropriately for timely resolution
•   Manage strong relationship with support teams (IT, Operations and Risk) and bring synergies by interacting and integrating with cross functional teams
Qualifications
- Ideal candidate must have overall 8+yrs of experience, across PC, FC, Corporate Finance preferably with Big4 with latest 3yrs in PC.
 - IFRS experience is a must
 - CA / CFA / MBA in Finance or equivalent.
 - Experience of managing Banking book portfolio.
 - Ability to work under constant pressure to tight deadlines and deliver high quality output.
 - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels both written (report and guideline writing) and verbally.
 - Analytical, Innovative and challenging mindset.
