Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

•    The successful candidate would be an experienced Business Analyst with a strong track record in the delivery of complex projects with exposure to FICC systems, in particular FX. This role will be closely working with Sales, FX traders, Risk, Operations, finance, and IT teams.  The SCALE IT team is also directly responsible for the development & technical integration of SCALE (Standard Chartered Aggregated Liquidity Engine) with external and internal clients. 

Key Attributes
•    Understand requirements and translate into quality technology solutions
•    Pro-actively engage, manage and build strong relationships with both business and technology teams.
•    Take ownership of technology deliveries from high level requirement through development, testing and deployment
•    Provide on-going support to the technology teams as required e.g. authoring / reviewing test cases, closing out open issues / questions, managing change request process etc.
•    Identify risks and issues early, plan mitigating steps and communicate these to stakeholders in a timely manner
•    Work closely with business users, other project and programme managers and technology stakeholders to ensure all stakeholders are fully engaged and expectations managed
•    Understanding Local regulatory/compliance landscape and working with stakeholders to understand end-to-end solutions
•    Run regular project working groups
•    Engage with key business and technology stakeholders for requirements and regular progress updates
•    Support the project manager from conception through to post-implementation review, ensuring all necessary governance steps are followed correctly and completely
•    Follow best practice project management protocols
•    Ensure specified requirements and system changes / enhancements are aligned to the strategy
•    Plan the required testing ensuring traceability between business requirements and test cases
•    Provide specialist support to the business users during testing phases

Business
•    Comprehend requirements into a feasible technical solutions
•    Drive projects from ideation phase to implementation phase
•    Drive user testing for the product
•    Good understanding of the Financial products in the FX world.
•    Support sales for onboarding of new products, clients and support the existing functional queries
Processes
•    Responsible for creating the user stories and maintaining the life cycle of requirements
•    Creation of agile boards and track the delivery of the requirements
•    Provide updates to key stake holders in a clear concise and timely manner
Risk Management
•    Responsibilities relating to identifying, assessing, monitoring, controlling and mitigating risks to the Group, as well as an awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group and the role the individual plays in managing them
Governance
•    Follow the ADO related governance as prescribed

Regulatory & Business Conduct
•    Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.

•    Product Owner, Sales, Design and development teams, User Interface design team, Client Integration, Quality Assurance.

Skills and Experience

•    domain knowledge in FX
•    Knowledge on API
•    Banking products, including derivatives across multiple asset classes, risk management processes, settlements & client onboarding
•    Written and verbal communication/presentation skills
•    Client facing experience
•    Strong analytical and quantitative skills
•    Experience in the delivery of major projects in the front office IT space

Qualifications

Education
•    Master or bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, finance, maths, physics or related fields
Certifications
•    Scrum certification is good to have
Languages
•    English
