Job Description: 

Job Summary

The B6 role in Risk Analytics and Insights Team is to drive implementation of data-driven strategies to enhance Risk Management processes and provide best in class analytics support.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support the Data, Insights & Analytics initiatives within T&O, as per Team SOP.
•    Support People Leader in identification of necessary infrastructure, tools, trainings or capabilities for the team and inform People Leader about required support. 
•    Being responsible for designing and delivering the measurement, reporting, and dashboard capabilities that enable effective oversight of the Bank’s evolving global business services model Support lifecycle management for products and tools they built or support as back up.
•    Being responsible for visual design and recommendations of solutions, insights representing metrics, leading indicators, signals that translates information into easy to consume actions for leaders to consume.
•    Ensuring that metrics, reporting standards, and management information are robust, consistent, and aligned to the Bank’s broader transformation and productivity agenda, while remaining closely integrated with stakeholders across the wider organization. 
•    Stay up to date with current and emerging BI industry trends and best practices.
•    Cooperate with other Data, Insights & Analytics teams to align approaches within the Bank
•    Support stakeholders by gathering and understanding their requirements, proactive sharing of opportunities for data driven insights, automation.
•    Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned Stakeholders for the functional analysis and development of assigned products.

Strategy 
•    Support execution of the overall management of the Data Insight and Analytics book of work in terms of individual initiative execution and processes and optimalization.
•    Support in providing ideas for developing and executing long term strategy and implementation plan for scaling the solution in various areas.
•    Promote a business intelligence and analytics culture and consistent approach in interactions with Stakeholders.
•    Partner with business and functional stakeholders to design and implement target state telemetry and dashboard model for senior leadership and other stakeholders

Business
•    Supporting discussions with Stakeholders, providing best in class visual design for their needs.
•    Support for People Leader in defining measures of success of the Performance Analytics and Management Team and how the Team contributes to the overall success of the function.

Processes
•    Perform design and data analysis for the assigned work, as required
•    Establish consistent definitions, calculation logics, and reporting standards for metrics reporting
•    Design and maintain dashboards, reporting cycles, and data flows that enable timely and reliable performance tracking
•    Support the Programme / Project Directors in applying strong project management disciplines, including structured planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and timely delivery of agreed outputs
•    Gather Business requirement and produce Functional requirement document for the development of dashboards / reports
•    Responsible for coordinating efforts to source data for the product.
•    Present solution ideas, mock ups and possible analysis to Stakeholders / Management to support them in taking timely actions on risk.
•    Design, develop, test, and deploy these products as per assignment.
•    Work with key partners (engineers, technology, CDO etc) to drive sustainable solutions
•    Coordinate / facilitate socialization for each phase of the dashboard development
•    Support  planning products lifecycle management (i.e. verify utilisation, manage withdrawal, transition etc.)

•    Provide strong leadership, management and coaching over colleague(s).
•    Work closely with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the quality and timely delivery of agreed book of work.
•    Foster strong relationships with stakeholders assigned to support their data driven decision and identify requirements to ensure that the T&O data insights and analytics meet business needs

Risk Management
•    Help the People Leader or Programme/ Project Director identify, escalate and resolve issues that have the potential to hinder or delay the implementation of the required steps 
•    Help the People Leader or Programme/ Project Director resolve any issues or conflicts arising under the Programme. Work with other key project teams around the Group to ensure inter-dependencies are appropriately considered and managed.

Governance
•    Maintain clear ownership information, change control, and auditability of metrics definitions and reporting methodologies
•    Establish strong relationships with the relevant business lines governance, risk, and control Teams, and technology / data to ensure adequate development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of new tools / solutions and the highest possible value added.
•    Provide timely and accurate data analytics / insights to key stakeholders.
•    Participation and active challenge of the identified business requirements for Risk tools / solutions to drive simplification and streamline the processes.
•    Helping to oversee and challenge the execution of the ongoing delivery while actively pursuing opportunities to extend such initiatives beyond current scopes.

•    Other teams within Technology and Operations department – HR, Finance, Risk etc.
 

Skills and Experience

•    Tertiary qualifications (minimum Diploma) in Computer Science, Engineering or Mathematics or other relevant areas
•    7+ years of experience in Banking, Financial Services or a related industry preferred
•    Prior experience in business analysis, creating dashboards and MI solutions is essential (Tableau - preferred)
•    Prior experience using design and prototyping tools (FIGMA - preferred) and a design portfolio to showcase (preferred) 
•    Experience in management information and performance reporting preferred
•    Languages: English
•    Coding skills will be additional advantage
•    Excellent organizational and leadership skills with ability to manage multiple deadlines and effectively prioritise 
•    Strong sense of personal ownership and responsibility in accomplishing the organisation’s goal. 
•    Able to get things done in a quick-paced environment. Be transparent and open around what doesn’t work and what does 
•    Excellent communication and briefing skills at senior executive and board level – oral, written and presentation; technical reporting writing across various types of target audiences. 
•    Highly entrepreneurial with a high level of energy, dedication, and an unrelenting drive to deliver value. 
•    Excellent understanding and proven track record of implementation of solutions using Business Intelligence platforms such as Tableau (preferred) etc.
