Title: DevOps Lead Engineer

Job Summary
• Self-motivated, independent, proactive, can-do appetite and responsible team player.
• Design and develop automation and testing tools across the development stack.
• Manage the Build and Release pipelines, figure out the issues if any and able to resolve it.
• Participate in the Agile DevOps design, development, testing, and release of new capabilities.
• Support development teams and work with internal clients.
• Exposure with project management using Agile Methodologies
Technical Capabilities
• Good exposure to Linux, Window, Azure, AWS Cloud Services
• Hands-on experience to create and Manage CI/CD Pipeline Tools, Azure DevOps (Required).
• Familiarity with SecOps tools.
• Hands-on and in depth knowledge of Code repositories such as GIT and understanding of Branching Strategy
• Exposure Docker, Podman, and Kubernetes (EKS), Terraform
• Experience working with binary repositories and artifact storage tools like - JFrog Artifactory
• Programming and scripting experience with Java Script, Unix Shell, PowerShell, YAML, Python.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Understand the bank’s DevOps strategy and implementing automation solutions to improve the bank’s software delivery pipeline.
Business
• This role requires broad engagement with application delivery teams across the bank, helping them adopt DevOps pipeline solutions to improve delivery efficiency and maturity.
Processes
• Understand the bank’s software delivery processes and implement solutions in line with the bank’s compliance and security requirement.
People & Talent
• Work collaboratively with a team of diverse engineers in sprint delivery.
• Produce technical documentation and prepare training materials on the solutions being delivered and provide technical support.
• Conduct briefing and/or training sessions to application delivery teams to help them get onboarded and accelerate adoption.
Risk Management
• Understand bank’s risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered.
Governance
• Understand bank’s software delivery & quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity.
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Serve as a Director of the Board
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

Skills and Experience
• Over all 10+ years of experince in Technology and also have good exposure in Azure DevOps
• Source Control Management using Git
• Experience in AWS & Azure architecture, design and implementation
• Hands-on experience in python. Proficient in additional cloud tools helm. EKS, AKS, YAML is an added advantage
• Hands-on in CICD and DevSecOps tools like Nexus, SonarQube, Artifactory
• Experience Cloud security, best practices
• Experience with Unix and Windows host operating systems, scripting (Bash/Shell or PowerShell) & networking is desirable
• Software Audit, Risk Management, Security
Qualifications
• Education Bachelors in Computer Science / Higher
• Training CORE DEVOPS / SECOPS Tool Stack
• Certifications AZURE / AWS Certification
