Job Summary
This is a leadership role, part of the Fund Services Technology Management Team. The role requires a strong Business Analysis expertise and Agile way of working set coupled with excellent stakeholder management capabilities. The role requires engaging stakeholders across the organization to set expectations and drive partnerships. The responsibilities include delivering client requests and operational efficiency enhancements and transformational changes into the technology landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Requirement Analysis
• Executes the Technology strategy and roadmap for Fund Accounting, Transfer Agency, Compliance Monitoring and data transformation applications.
• Drives standardization of operational processes aligning to strategic Technology principles aligning to the SCB standards and best practices
• Develops best practices in the software development and builds that culture within the developer / tester community
Solution Design
• Engages with the Product and Operations stakeholders regularly and consistently building trust and confidence.
• Open and transparent communications on project deliveries are essential. Understanding of the business parlance in Fund Services is key.
Processes
• Manages the Scrum team with razor-like focus on the end-to-end delivery and quality – sticking to committed timelines and helping remove impediments
• Runs the agile ceremonies diligently with the letter and spirit
• Following the SCB processes of release and Change Management, architecture, and Technology standards
• Works with production support, operations and other stakeholders to deliver changes
• Analyses and reviews the code deliveries for quality and best practices
• Coordinates with the vendor partners for appropriate deliveries from vendors
People & Talent
• Mentors, develops, coaches and guides the team members through exemplary behaviour and support interventions
• Takes pride in the team’s achievements and gives credit to where its due
Risk Management
• Participates in identification of non- functional requirements like security requirements performance objectives
• Manages the risks of deliveries and reaches out for help at appropriate times
Governance
• Sets up / follows appropriate prioritization / delivery governance as well as Lining up the work (LUW)
• Picks up new technologies with ease, solves complex technical problems and multitasks between different projects
• Periodically reports status to the Management team
• Actively participants and contributes to Scrum of scrums and refinement forums
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

• Serve as a Director of the Board
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)

Qualifications
• Degree in Business / Accounting / Banking or equivalent
• Certification in Business Analysis, Data Analysis, Process modelling – will be beneficial
• Certification in Agile Scrum Master or Product owner, Project Management (PMP, etc) would be good to have
