Job Summary

  • Analytical mindset with experience in financial services, ideally in areas like cash management or pricing models
  • Ability to identify bottlenecks, and support ongoing operational improvements
  • Understanding of application support, issue resolution, and debugging
  • Basic programming skills to assist in automating payment processes and pricing configurations

Key Responsibilities

Requirement Elicitation and Analysis:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, objectives, and challenges. Elicit, document, and analyse business requirements, processes, and workflows. Translate business requirements into clear and concise functional specifications for technical teams. Manage team to Perform documentation of the code changes using SDF framework to maintain an audit trail of the changes.

Solution Design:

  • Collaborate with technology teams to design solutions that meet business needs. Propose innovative and practical solutions to address business challenges. Ensure that proposed solutions align with the organization's strategic goals and technological capabilities.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Documentation:

  • Create detailed documentation including business requirements, process flows, use cases, and user stories. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation throughout the project lifecycle

 

Skills and Experience

  • Basic knowledge of FX and cross-border payment systems. Familiarity with transaction banking, payment gateways, and regulatory requirements in global payments
  • Familiarity with payment platforms or tools related to pricing and billing
  • Knowledge of clearing and settlement processes, especially in multi-currency scenarios
  • Proficiency in data analysis, using tools like SQL, Python, or similar for transaction data and payment flow analysis

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position
