Job Summary

The FM Business Planning and Strategy team requires a financial PMO to support the management of a large investment portfolio. The successful candidate will be a Financial PMO Analyst with an educational background in Business Administration, majoring in either IT Management or Finance in addition, complemented by consulting experience, preferably in management consulting. He or she will be a trusted advisor to our initiative leads and scrum masters and enable them to “Do the Right Thing”, maintaining strong financial and process governance across the portfolio. In addition, the incumbent has a keen interest in Financial Markets and new emerging technologies, which will help them to grow in the bank.

Key Responsibilities

•    Support programme/project owners by managing financials holistically and updating Clarity in a timely manner to reflect accurate financial forecasts following financial principles e.g. Opex, Capex, accruals etc.
•    Perform regular financial report consolidation and analysis at all levels – project, programme and portfolio
•    Facilitate the fulfilment of ad hoc requests from key stakeholders pertaining to project/programme management reporting
•    Support Program SC/Refinement Forums with the necessary programme/segment data for reporting
•    Analyse financial trends, highlight issues and work with relevant parties to report and resolve issues
•    Tracking and reporting of project milestones, risks and issues and project artefacts and ensure these are managed in line with SCB’s programme/project governance policies
•    Work with external auditors and finance team to manage the portfolio’s audit requirements by working with the relevant Preogramme Managers/PMs to provide the necessary information to the auditors in a timely manner
•    Ensure control around vendor engagements (SOWs, Sourcing/Engagement requests, supplier management processes and controls)
•    Support headcount approvals, tracking and reporting based on headcount strategies
•    Support the analysis and review of production support flowthrough submissions
•    Support the annual budget process
•    Produce monthly management reports by consolidating project achievements and concerns
•    Support Ways of Working with any ad hoc inputs required for the respective forums and stakeholders

Skills and Experience

Candidates with 10+ years of relevant experience

    • Microsoft Excel
    • Clarity or other project financials management system
    • Accounting principles
    • Dashboard  and report building

Qualifications

  • Education       Bachelor’s Degree In Business or A Related Field (Economics, IT Management)
