Job Summary
• Risk management – identifying and managing risks ideally in the NFRR space
• Governance and controls – establishing / implementing a robust governance framework and process / treatment plans
• Project management and implementation – ability to enable, land, track, execute and deliver projects end to end to completion across broad range of countries and stakeholders and support with ongoing management requirements as needed
• Stakeholder management – ability to collaborate and interface with a broad range of stakeholders in the Risk & CFCC function or beyond as needed to take forward the deliverables required for the management of NFRR risk including process implementation and embedding of necessary controls within treatment plans etc• Deploy and execute the process / treatment plans in the 1st LoD capacity within Risk space
• Embed underlying system workflows and effective relevant Controls and Controls Monitors in applicable downstream markets and monitor results for control effectiveness and address thematic issues identified.
• Assist Risk / CFCC NFRR Delegates in implementing 1st LoD processes and treatment plans for their areas through knowledge sharing, facilitating system onboarding / needs etc
• Identification and cascading of themes of lessons learned / best practices
Key Responsibilities
• Monitor process implementation progress, identify issues and close gaps for the effective management of NFRR risk
• Engage NFRR teams on the framework parameters and cascade necessary updates to NFRR Delegates.
• Provide guidance and support on NFRR process and controls embedding and related matters as needed
• Liaise with the various stakeholders to obtain status updates and determine and agree on required actions
Skills and Experience
• Execute and implement agreed NFRR process treatment plans to bring residual risk rating for NFRR related risks within appetite
• Embed NFRR policy and NFRR process requirements
• Oversee and challenge the risk management / process compliance etc by NFRR Delegates and stakeholders for their respective areas as required
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree from a reputable university
• Minimum of 10+ years experience in banking field, with proven track record in risk management, project / initiative implementation, business analyst skills and resolving matters end to end to closure with the flexibility to adapt
• Ideally, knowledge of Banks policies and procedures relating to NFRR and key risk areas/risk types would be a plus
• Keen, fast and adaptive learner
• High attention to detail and commitment to good work ethic
• Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills geographies and lines of business,
• Highly disciplined and structured with an outcome oriented and logical mindset and approach
• Able to work independently and also as part of a team
• Strong analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to handle multi-tasks, manage time effectively and perform under pressure and able to work at flexible hours
