Job Summary

Payments landscape in the Cash domain is undergoing a huge change and Standard Chartered Bank has a niche product SCPay which provides optimum payment solutions to our clients.

The individual selected for this role will have a deep understanding of the payments domain and provide their expertise and experience in furthering the development of the product.

In particular, their role will be as Business solutions – Accelerator Governance and execution

We have built a product template and accelerator approach to implement TT in an accelerated manner. This will standardize features and ensure that product behaves in the same way in all countries. This role needs to ensure that the implementation adheres to the plans outlined and if there are other opportunities to standardize another feature functionality. They should pick it up and get the product to the next version.

Currently the Business solution pool suffers lack of senior SME Support and heavily dependent on 2-3 people. If this role is not hired, it will result in non-standard implementation, delays in client onboarding resulting in many production incidents.

Business

  • Interfacing with business stakeholders for requirements management, prioritisation and documentation
  • Translate Product concept to business requirements & define functional test cases along with entire suite of testing
     

Key Responsibilities

Processes

  • Interacting with the technical team to ensure that the requirements are clear and well understood.
  • Work with the delivery / implementation teams to provide domain inputs and to ensure delivery and implementation of the proposed solution.  Develop appropriate test strategy and execution plans.
  • Ability to work in Waterfall, Iterative or Agile methodology of SDLC,
  • Ensure solutions are developed in a scalable manner and identifies opportunities to increase efficiencies and accuracy of information. Also eliminate redundancies & duplication,
  • Review test strategy and test cases and provide constructive feedback to enhance quality of UAT.
  • Ensure gaps in deliverables are identified early and addressed effectively.
  • Define processes and controls as per evolving industry requirements.
  • Work with management to prioritize business needs.
  • Locate and define new process improvement opportunities

Risk Management

  • The ability to interpret and identify key risks issues in system and put in place appropriate controls and measures

Governance

  • Accountable to adhere to tech policies and processes required to support /change of applications
