Job Summary
Standard Chartered Bank is currently accelerating its Digital Transformation agenda and a key part of this transition is an investment into its Financial Markets electronic trading and e-commerce capability. To deliver this commitment, we have an exciting opportunity for a hands-on ION MarketView Platform Specialist to join our global team development team which is distributed over London, Bangalore and Singapore . ION Marketview is a key component of our eTrading platform providing pricing and trading integration for D2C and D2D markets, for the Rates and Credit businesses
Key Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities
- Hands-on configuration, integration and testing of ION eTrading components
- Ability to provide L2 Production support
- Implement changes and upgrades to the ION MarketView eTrading platform.
- Coordinate and organise changes with external vendors, markets, ECNs and infrastructure teams
- Writing documentation, user guides, regular demos to business and internal teams
- Performing user verification testing with various groups during project go-live

- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
- Serve as a Director of the Board
- Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association (or equivalent)
Other Responsibilities
- Technical Skills/Knowledge
- Experience of Linux for server side components.
- Experience of using source control systems, CI/CD pipeline would be a strong advantage.
- Experience of shell and python scripting would be an advantage

Qualifications
- Bachelors in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
