Job Summary
• Min 10+ years of exp in software development and design.
• Hands on experience of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
• Strong analytical and problem solving
• In depth experience in architecture and solution design
• Hands-on in JSE & JEE specifications
• Hands on experience in Design Patterns
• Hands on experience on BPM, Integration skillset to primarily work on ATOM workflows, experience APIs & integration
• Experience in Service Oriented, Microservices and Cloud native architecture implementations
• Experience in Web services, API design, Defining Specification using swagger/RAML.
• Experience in mentoring and grooming developers and senior developers.
• Good experience in implementing non functional specifications.
• Lead and contribute to design & development of Integration solutions with an end-to-end mindset
• Contribute to common controls developments, prototyping
• Improve code quality statistics, participate/drive code reviews and continuously reduce technical debt
• Study existing engineering processes and contribute to improvements to drive up efficiencies
• Collaborate with teams globally to deliver, present ideas and innovate
• Model behaviours that facilitate Agile delivery
• Exhibit passion for client experience with a user-first mindset
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Experienced practitioner and hands on contribution to the squad delivery for their craft (Eg. Engineering).
- Responsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.
Business
- Ensure work is delivered as per the required business objectives
- Work with the Product owner and team to enable business objectives to be met
Processes
- Manage the lifecycle of products or services, ensuring governance is maintained and aligned with the group's framework.
People & Talent
- Work collaboratively within the team and be a team player with focus to deliver individual and team objectives
Risk Management
- Actively identify proactive risk identification and management, establishing a vigilant culture that anticipates and addresses issues swiftly.
- Coordinate risk escalation and participate in resolution processes, ensuring timely understanding the root cause.
Governance
- Exemplify and promote adherence to the group's values and code of conduct, ensuring all activities comply with regulatory and ethical standards.
Skills and Experience
- knowledge of user interface models, application design, and website functionality
- In-depth knowledge on REST services, JSON, HTML, CSS , JavaScript
- Hands-on knowledge in Oracle and SQL
- Oracle or SQL Server PL/SQL development and designing data model.
- Hands-on knowledge on business rules management system and business rules engine like Drools
- -Knowledge of microservices architecture
- -Java / J2EE - strong knowledge of server-side programming. Good understanding of basic concepts of collections, multithreading & OOPS concept
- -Good knowledge in application integration using Web Service (SOAP/REST) or Messaging using JMS
- -Experience on implementing JAVA, BPM, Integration patterns & workflow definition on ATOM.
- -Hands on experience for “Experience APIs” and the relative integrations on the standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, engineering or equivalent discipline, he/she must have relevant experience fulfilling responsibilities of the position
