Title: Data Engineer

Lead Development
The primary responsibility of this role is to deliver best-in-class data components and applications leveraging Java microservices, API architecture, Oracle, PostGreS, Lit UI frameworks and various data engineering techniques
The successful candidate will be equally comfortable with code development, test automation, pushing production grade application code, solving problems with the team in design sessions, knitting together simple technical architectures, and communicating decisions effectively with senior stakeholders.
Above all, we seek a candidate with the right attitude: opiniated and optimistic yet pragmatic and hungry to collaborate. Regardless of depth of experience, we need someone who is ready to listen and learn.
Among the list of below skills, not all are required. The candidate must demonstrate ease and confidence in learning any skills they have not yet had a chance to hone.
o Expert SQL and data analysis
o Should have extensive experience with relational and NO-SQL databases
o Strong experience deploying applications to cloud platforms like Azure, AWS
o Some experience in MicroStrategy Reporting - backend and front-end
• Advantages to have Back-end Java experience as well, and a desire to learn / focus on the above:
o Strong knowledge and experience in developing application using Java 8 , J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Spring cloud and hibernate.
o Strong knowledge and Hands-on experience on web application, Restful webservices and Microservices architecture.
o Good understanding of design patterns and its usages to implement reusable components of code.
o Good knowledge and hands on experiences with databases like Postgres, Oracle.
o Good knowledge and experience on Junit and Mockito.
o Experience in UI technologies and frameworks - ReactJS preferred.
o Experience in docker technology and cloud-based applications (OpenShift, AWS, Azure etc.,)
o Strong analytical and debugging skills.
o Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, adhering to best practices and coding standards.
o Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
o Mentor and guide other team members and code reviews
Key Responsibilities
- Senior Full stack Java Developer:

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in computer science, mathematics, engineering or another quantitative field
- 10+ years of experience in building data-driven applications
