Job Summary
We are currently looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer with 10-15 years of professional experience to join our dynamic FinCrime & Cyber team in Bangalore. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing innovative, secure, and scalable applications that support financial crime prevention and cyber investigations. You will utilize a wide range of technologies including cutting-edge frameworks and tools, with opportunities to incorporate GenAI and AI engineering solutions to revolutionize intelligent investigation workflows.
Your expertise in building robust data engineering pipelines, leveraging platforms such as Databricks, will be essential as you create automated, efficient solutions that enhance operational resilience and reduce investigation times. Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Contribute to the FinCrime & Cyber technology strategy by building full stack applications that align with business goals and digital transformation priorities.
• Explore emerging technologies such as GenAI, vector databases, and AI-driven assistants to enhance investigative efficiency.
Business
• Collaborate with analysts, investigators, and risk teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Develop features that improve case management, fraud detection, and cyber defense workflows.
• Ensure applications deliver measurable value in reducing investigation time and improving operational resilience.
Processes
• Design and develop full stack applications using Node.js, Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, PostgreSQL.
• Build scalable APIs and backend services to integrate with case management platforms and investigative tools.
• Support data engineering workflows with Python, Airflow, and Databricks (Must Have)
• Build AI Agentic Apps with frameworks like Google ADK, Langgraph, Langchain etc.
• Deploy and maintain applications with Docker/Podman and orchestrate on Kubernetes.
• Apply DevSecOps practices, ensuring secure coding, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
People and Talent
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing technical mentorship and knowledge sharing where needed.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation within the FinCrime & Cyber team.
Risk Management
• Build applications that adhere to cybersecurity and data privacy standards.
• Identify and mitigate risks in software design, deployment, and integration.
• Ensure secure authentication, authorization, and audit trails are embedded in applications.

• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and design approvals to ensure compliance with technology standards.
• Maintain documentation, version control, and consistent coding practices aligned with enterprise policies.

Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of technical expertise, practical experience, and a passion for innovation in the context of financial crime prevention and cybersecurity. Key skills and experience include:
- Proven experience with Databricks, Nifi, Kafka, and Splunk to build and monitor scalable data-driven applications and pipelines.
- Extensive frontend development skills using frameworks such as Next.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS to deliver intuitive and accessible user interfaces.
- Robust backend development experience with Node.js and PostgreSQL, including API design and integration with complex systems.
- Hands-on expertise in AI engineering, machine learning concepts, and their application in real-world investigative scenarios.
- Strong understanding of data engineering principles, including workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow and the ability to develop and maintain data pipelines.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Podman) and orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes.
- A solid grasp of DevSecOps practices, with a focus on secure coding, automated testing, and CI/CD methodologies to deliver reliable and secure applications.
- Familiarity with AI agentic app frameworks such as Google ADK, LangGraph, and LangChain is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, with excellent communication and mentoring capabilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.

10–15 years of professional experience in software engineering, application development, and enterprise technology delivery, preferably within Banking, Financial Services, Financial Crime, Risk, Compliance, or Cyber Security domains.

Proven ability to work in Agile and cross-functional environments, with strong stakeholder management, problem-solving, leadership, communication, governance, and regulatory compliance experience.
