Job Summary

The incumbent will be given the opportunity to support multiple global initiatives and gain hands-on exposure in executing large-scale projects in a multinational financial institution. Some of the key initiatives that the incumbent can expect to work on include (but not limited to):
Collaborating with both internal and external subject matter experts to schedule and organise training events for bankers. This includes managing administrative tasks such as scheduling calendar invitations, overseeing the recording of training content, promoting sessions through internal communications (e.g., email campaigns, newsletters), and maintaining the internal training microsite. In addition, the incumbent will also be involved in gathering feedback on training effectiveness and partnering with stakeholders to drive continuous improvement of the training offering. 
Working with Early Careers team, Banking & Coverage COO and BPM counterparts for demand and budget planning.
Organizing and running a global forum to discuss upcoming changes to coverage banker / analyst roles & responsibilities.
Creating internal content and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of coverage bankers and support roles.

The incumbent will also learn to develop a holistic view of how large, multinational banks work and a granular understanding of the institutional banking business and various stakeholders / roles involved.
The Frontline Enablement Centre sits within the Frontline and Business Performance Team which in turn is part of the broader Banking & Coverage Chief of Staff team. This is a global team which owns a portfolio of productivity and frontline capability enablement tools, frontline sales processes, management and sales insights engines and recommendation tools as well as coordinate strategic workforce planning.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy

  • Understand CIB business strategy and the Chief of Staff office role in driving the delivery of our client proposition, commercialisation, frontline effectiveness and efficiency

Business

  • Planning, curating, and working with business representatives to execute trainings for bankers across Banking and Coverage 
  • Working with Early Careers team on executing and gathering feedback on the Graduate program, representing the global Coverage business
  • Organizing and running a global forum to discuss upcoming changes to Coverage banker / analyst roles & responsibilities
  • Creating internal content and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of Coverage bankers and support roles

Processes

  • Working closely with the Frontline Enablement Centre team to ideate, execute and deliver new project-based initiatives to simplify frontline processes and day-to-day 

People & Talent

  • Open to all streams but candidates pursuing Business Management / Studies, Finance or Analytics degrees would be preferred
  • Candidates with previous internships in banks / FIs will be preferred
  • Lead through example and build the appropriate culture and values
  • Ensure ongoing training and development for professional and personal growth
     

Risk Management

  • Ability to manage risk, make timely decisions, develop solutions and facilitate mitigating actions

Governance

  • Ensure awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role
  • Deliver effective governance in compliance with applicable internal policies and external laws and regulations, overseeing changes in business controls as required

Skills and Experience

  • Analytical thinking and strong organizational skills    
  • Basic understanding of Project Management     
  • Basic understanding of financial institutions / banks    
  • Has worked effectively across multiple markets and can navigate geographical complexity (preferred)
