Job Description: 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Enhance assistance in the execution of new CSTs.
  • Anticipate potential risks and outline necessary measures for mitigation through the appropriate channels.
  • Increase comprehensive ownership by addressing, resolving, and tracking open inquiries and requests with established deadlines.
  • Achieve complete migration of CST checks to a centralized hub, further optimizing the process in collaboration with Risk to stagger checks and determine sample sizes based on testing requirements.
  • Identify operations currently conducted manually and assess their potential for automation.
  • Enhance overall process efficiency by scrutinizing reports to eliminate redundancy.
  • Strive to develop an automation framework that ensures successful execution without errors or adverse effects.
  • Collaborate with fellow team members through cross-training to acquire new skills and processes.
  • Achieve the overall MCA grade (Management Control Awareness).
  • Record the Testing Methodology.
  • Track essential risks and their advancement towards resolution.
  • Provide stakeholders with reliable insights promptly.
  • Communicate effectively to comprehend the needs and meet the expectations of all stakeholders.
  • Identify, prioritize, and engage stakeholders throughout the development process.

  • Work within the Credit and Portfolio Management (GB & SPM) Change Management team to manage the non-financial risks across the business.
  • Enable a sustainable and standardised approach to governance and operations across GB & SPM

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ experience in risk management in banking
  • Strong understanding of process and business risk

  • Excellent communication skills – oral, written and presentation.
  • Ability to engage and drive outcomes effectively across stakeholder groups, from working level through to senior management
