Group Internal Audit (GIA) is seeking to hire a Manager for supporting Planning, Delivery, MI and Reporting team within the Chief Operations Officer (COO) team. The Planning, Delivery, MI & Reporting function is responsible for analysing different types of data (audit, operations, finance and people related data) and presenting the key MI and Insights to the GIA management and Bank management with an objective to uplift the function’s and Bank’s performance. The qualified individual will be required to produce periodic management reports, analyse data, use advanced tools like Dataiku, PowerBI and Tableau to drive innovation in the function, and generate data led insights to support Group Internal Audit in achieving its objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy*  
•    Awareness of both Bank and GIA strategy to align the outcomes of the MI and data insights.
•    Support the GIA function to enable quicker and key actions. 
•    Understand the “role of data” and “power of data” to implement change. 

Business*
•    Understand of Bank’s structure, and how GIA structure is aligned for various reporting.
•    Understand the audit methodology and the key risks impacting the bank. 
•    Understand various policies and legal framework for compliance.

Processes*
•    Prepare various reporting related to Project Finance and other Governance matters relating to GIA as per specified frequency.
•    Embed key controls to improve the quality of reporting and data. Proactively identify gaps in existing process and suggest and enhance the processes to ensure correct outcomes.
•    Innovate using simplification, standardisation, and automation of processes to improve efficiencies.
•    Use data analytics to lead the design, build, implementation and continuous improvement of effective MI dashboards using tools like Power BI and Tableau to enable timely actions by the stakeholders. 
•    Embrace the agile philosophy and continuously seek feedback for continuous improvement.
•    Maintain high standards of data quality and compliance with data sovereignty and data confidentiality. 
•    Participate in initiatives and perform user testing to confirm the outcomes.

People & Talent*
•    Share knowledge and demonstrate openness to learning.
•    Complete all mandatory trainings/learnings on time.
•    Collaborate with colleagues in different locations of the bank and work with various stakeholders across COO and within GIA audit function. 

Risk Management*
•    Support the COO in managing the audit risk generated through reporting. This will be achieved by developing and assessing against clear principles and standards to improve the quality, consistency and timing of our reporting to key stakeholders.

Governance*
•    Plan for processes that run automatically with less manual intervention to minimise data risks.
•    Continuously monitor various metrics to measure progress. 
•    Be aware of policies applicable to all Bank users and specific to GIA. Consult timely with the responsible persons to gain better knowledge of the risks involved with specific process Governance (like data sharing).
•    Maintain documentation for processes to ensure proper business continuity planning. 
 

Key stakeholders

  • Build and maintain key relationships with colleagues within COO, Audit Executive team, GIA staff, Non-GIA Reporting teams.
  • Maintain customer focus in all processes. 


Other Responsibilities

  • Be an ambassador of Bank’s values 
  • Perform other responsibilities assigned under Group, Country, Business or Functional policies and procedures; Multiple functions (double hats)
  • Support the delivery of GIA Function’s priorities and strategic initiatives on adhoc basis.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems or Business (e.g., Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Management, Statistics) is preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in a data analysis and management reporting role preferably with internal audit, a risk function, a control function and/or previous experience in analysing business processes in a financial services environment.
