Title: Manager, Test Engineering - S&T SCM

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Testing Manager to drive the testing strategy, execution, and quality assurance for Supply Chain Management (SCM) technology applications with focus on Procure to Pay (P2P) transformational program. This role will spearhead the end to end technology testing of enterprise applications such as SAP S4/Hana, Ariba, VIM and overall SCM technology components, ensuring robust functional and non-functional testing, test automation to improve efficiency, and compliance with business requirements and technology standards.
As a test manager, you will lead a team of test engineers, collaborate with cross functional stakeholders, and champion the best practices in testing methodologies, automation, technical assurance, and quality governance. You will drive capability building and actively contribute to the domain level technology initiatives focused on engineering excellence aligned with overall technology strategy and priorities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategy
• Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for SCM P2P programme and that aligns with the Bank’s overarching technology vision and roadmap.
• Advocate for quality at every stage of the software testing lifecycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards within the delivery function.
• Establish best practices for test automation, performance testing and continuous testing in a DevOps/Agile environment.
• Collaborate with technology and business stakeholders to effectively deliver the commitments on time with best quality.
Business
• Ensure testing processes are aligned with business objectives to facilitate seamless software delivery and optimal user experience.
• Embed testing excellence into the product development lifecycle to support the Bank’s digital transformation initiatives.
• Work closely with product and business teams to ensure testing activities contribute to customer satisfaction and meet regulatory requirements.
• Ensure comprehensive domain knowledge and thorough test coverage across SCM lines of products and business processes.
Processes
• Define and implement comprehensive end-to-end testing procedures to ensure efficiency, consistency, and standardization across testing phases.
• Establish and maintain a robust test automation framework to enhance the speed and accuracy of software delivery.
• Ensure adherence to the testing governance model and controls in collaboration with technology assurance teams.
• Manage functional and non-functional testing methodologies and procedures across all applications to maintain uniformity and quality.
• Understand and ensure compliance with the Bank’s technology governance processes and Enhanced Software Development Lifecycle (ESDLC) controls.

People & Talent
• Lead, mentor and grow a team of test engineers (functional and non-functional) to enhance their domain and technical expertise around SCM applications and business process.

Risk Management
• Maintain awareness and understanding of the main risks facing the Group, particularly those arising from the testing function.
• Identify, assess, monitor, control, and mitigate risks to the Group that may arise from testing activities.
• Ensure a comprehensive understanding of the risk and control environment within the Technology & Operations (T&O) function.
• Implement robust risk-based testing approaches to mitigate potential software failures and their business impacts.
• Work closely with risk and compliance teams to ensure testing activities adhere to regulatory and security standards.
• Identify potential risks in testing processes and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
Governance
• Responsible for assessing the effectiveness of the Group’s arrangements to deliver effective governance, oversight and controls in the business and, if necessary, oversee changes in these areas
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, in which the Group operates, and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Responsible for delivering ‘effective governance’; capability to challenge fellow executives effectively.
• Willingness to work with any local regulators in an open and cooperative manner.

Other Responsibilities
• Develop and execute a comprehensive testing strategy for SCM P2P programme and M&E changes.
• Prepare Test Approach, estimation and define testing scope for testing phase.
• Manage and own E2E Testing lifecycle including System, Integration, Regression, Performance testing for SCM applications.
• Provide support to business users for planning and conducting User Acceptance Testing.
• Drive automation-first testing approach, ensuring high test coverage and early defect detection.
• Manage performance and load testing for critical SCM workflows to ensure stability and resiliency.
• Ensure robust defect tracking and reporting mechanism using tools Azure DevOps.
• Monitor and analyse test results to provide insights into product quality, risk and release readiness.
• Ensure smooth defect resolution by coordinating with developers, functional consultants, and business teams.
• Research and implement industry best practices and trends in test automation and SAP testing methodologies.
• Build Test Automation and Performance Engineering capabilities within the team to enhance testing efficiency and effectiveness.
• Drive the implementation of Azure DevOps CI/CD pipeline for SCM application testing.
• Adoption of Cybersecurity controls and secure coding practices for Test Automation code building and maintenance.
• Hands on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Ariba, Concur and other procure-to-pay applications.
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills with solution oriented mindset.
• Strong communication skills with ability to articulate test results, risks and quality metrics to leadership.
