Job Summary
The role requires very strong change management experience along with a background in Core Finance function. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior leaders within Finance
Key Responsibilities
Strategy*
1. Ensure clarity of objectives agreed with the LM and are broken down to tasks with regular updates to the LM.
2. Managing the assigned tasks professionally and efficiently.
3. Ensuring compliance of regulations, policies and requirements.
4. Contributing to the effectiveness of the team by utilizing interpersonal skills to work with members effectively.
5. Gain cross functional knowledge & System Training to uplift the skills especially in the assigned domains.
6. Develop and apply testing processes. Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases. Co-ordination of Test data/Environment with upstream/downstream teams.
7. Ensure detailed project transition plan to be considered in different aspects like End User Training, Resource Considerations & Training Materials.
8. Responsible for managing deliverables throughout the project lifecycle collaborating with various project/program teams, stakeholders; finance stakeholders across geographies, process and technology teams.
9. Evidence of strong Project Management skills, enabling the delivery of multiple diverse data initiatives from inception to delivery
10. Excellent business and technical process design and execution skills, enabling the effective execution of a change
11. Responsibility for prioritisation and management of critical path delivery items
12. Design the target state solution and target state processes
13. Drive the establishment of a target operating model and internal capability to support and drive ongoing change / enhancement initiatives
14. Ensure strong engagement with senior leaders and stakeholders across Finance.
15. Responsible for risk and issue resolution
Business*
1. The role requires very strong Transfer Pricing documentation skills and along with a background Core Finance functions.
2. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with senior leaders within Finance is also a must.
Processes*
1. Require sound operational knowledge on TP documentation and TP solution in PaPM
2. Should be able to articulate clear functional requirements that can be used to drive solutions
3. Should have experience of setting up and transitioning TP documentation to a central process
4. Should have reasonable accounting and tax knowledge
5. Should have expert excel skills
6. Should have good analytical skills and able to work quickly on huge data
7. Good/ sound communication skills required to represent business updates relating to the enhancement projects to stake holders/ project owners
8. To perform in-depth manual testing UAT / UVT on the enhancements and BAU changes built by the development team / PSS
9. Should be able to provide clear feedback on the testing results to project owners & business teams
10. Should have skills to work on urgency facing tough challenges
11. Build partnership and work collaboratively with Tech team and Project team to meet shared objectives
12. Stepping up to address difficult issues and guide what needs to be done
13. Should be able to accept new requirements and opportunities during the transition phase
Qualifications
University degree – Masters / MBA preferable in Finance or Accounting/ Chartered Accountant with minimum 10 years of post-qualification experience in International Tax and Transfer Pricing.
People having work experience in banking/multinational companies / Big 4s are preferred.
Good understanding of general tax principles / accounting treatment for taxes/ Corporate Tax structure/ TP documentation preferably from Big 4s
High level of computer literacy and understanding of business computing environments.
Strong analytical skill and an eye for detail and ability to face challenges in the working environment
Experience in engaging with senior business stakeholders
Strong background in problem solving, with demonstrable analytical skills
Experience in one or more of the following areas desired: Cost allocation, financial planning, financial / management reporting, SAP PaPM
Should have expert excel skills
Should have good analytical skills and able to work quickly on huge data
Good/ sound communication skills required to represent business updates relating to the enhancement projects to stake holders/ project owners
