Job Summary
The Manager – Content Management System is responsible for overseeing the daily operation, maintenance, and optimization of the Bank's Content Management System platform and content. The role involves a mix of technical, administrative, and strategic tasks to ensure efficient content delivery. The role also supports overall web operations, primarily managing WordPress-based platforms and ensuring content, UI, UX and SEO accuracy. Understanding of content and good content writing experience will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the CMS platform.
Upload, format, edit, and publish various forms of content, including articles, employee stories, management profiles, campaign pages ensuring accuracy and proper placement.
Lifecycle management for media assets and pages.
End-to-end page management on WordPress, including page creation, content updates, approvals and publishing.
Coordinate with business users, designers, developers, and QA teams.
Provide web support for UI, UX, and content-related changes.
Audit pages regularly and suggest edits for improved user engagement and accessibility.
Maintain, track and support in building monthly editorial calendars.
Manage user accounts, roles, and permissions within the CMS to control who can create, edit, and publish content.
Ensure all web content is optimized for search engines (SEO) and web accessibility standards (WCAG).
Participate in UAT and coordinate with development teams on system updates, upgrades, and new feature rollouts.
Ensure responsiveness, usability, and brand compliance across platforms.
Support releases, enhancements, and CMS upgrades across web pages.
Write, edit and proofread content as and when required.
Other Responsibilities
Looking for a candidate with 8+ years of relevant experience in content conceptualisation, creation and delivery, with hands on research expertise
Banking/Global Business Services domain knowledge is good to have but not a necessity
Experience of running and managing complex content
Excellent communication, presentation and documentation skills
Stakeholder management skills and project management skills
Proficiency in software like WordPress, MS PPT, Word, CMS systems
Strong understanding of content/ brand/marketing principles.
Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Digital Marketing, Communications, IT, Computer Science or related field.
8+ years of experience in CMS, SEO, UAT, QA, or web support roles.
Hands-on experience with WordPress CMS.
Strong understanding of core web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for formatting and troubleshooting content issues.
Understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design.
Additional experience of content writing will be preferable.
Strong experience working with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Experience in managing and leading end-to-end web projects.
Skills and Experience
Hands-on experience with Website management toos.
Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.).
Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Exposure to SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) framework.
