Job Summary
• Work as part of a busy Prime Middle Office team supporting FX, Commodity, FXO and Rates products.
• Support Prime workflows ensuring timely transaction matching and book reconciliation.
• Provide day-to-day support of clients’ trading activities.
• Monitor credit limits in real time and raise requests accordingly to internal risk teams.
• Contribute to product testing needs and evolution of maturing product.
• Engage regional and global teams to facilitate a “follow the sun” support model.
• Work with the business and technology/project teams on new product offerings such as ETD and Crypto
• Support, manage and execute regional/global initiatives.
• General communication with counterparties, IT Support, Credit, Operations, Front Office, Legal and Product Controllers
• Adherence to key processes and control requirements
• Contribute to Business Continuity Planning and Documentation of existing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• BAU enablement, servicing and solutioning support for Prime business.
• Constantly seek opportunities to improve global consistency, work closely across functions and other regions to close gaps and standardise processes.
• Communicate with clients to solve immediate day to day issues with transactions as well as understand their longer terms needs to shape business decisions in Operations
• Build strong relationship with Hub teams to facilitate efficient communications and speedy resolutions of issues.
• Daily workflow monitoring across tech stack with a focus on various TP systems
Business
• EOD books checks and Trade Matching
Processes
• Own query remediation, trade life-cycling and other day-to-day processing, ensuring timely escalation, to minimise risk.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovate:
• Partner with Technology to deliver transformation.
• Work with wider PB team to identify improvements and drive efficiency.
Risk Management
• Raise hold trades in a timely fashion in line with legally agreed timescales.
• Ensure Audit points are addressed within timelines.
• Contribute to regulatory compliance and future proof the Middle Office model through a strong understanding of current rules and anticipation of upcoming regulations.
