Title: Manager Regulatory Implementation

Job Summary
Analyst – Regulatory Implementation’ will be a key contributor in executing regulatory change initiatives across Markets onboarding activities. This role sits within the Markets Onboarding Regulatory Implementation team and supports the timely and accurate implementation of new and evolving financial regulations, including but not limited to Dodd-Frank, SEC, CFTC, EMIR, MiFID II & UM
The analyst will help coordinate regulatory impact assessments, assist in designing and executing implementation plans, and ensure that front-office, operations, and support teams integrate compliance controls and regulatory specific onboarding requirements into business-as-usual (BAU) processes
This role is critical in maintaining the regulatory integrity of the firm’s client base, enabling uninterrupted trading activity, and ensuring ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements for client classifications, disclosures, and documentation. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of financial products, regulatory frameworks, and operational execution in institutional banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
• Monitor, track, and analyze global and domestic financial regulations that impact the bank’s corporate and institutional banking businesses.
• Collaborate with compliance and legal teams to interpret the scope, timelines, and implications of proposed or enacted rules.
• Support the preparation of regulatory impact assessments, identifying business functions, systems, products, and processes affected.
• Work with program/project managers to define workstreams, milestones, and deliverables related to regulatory change projects.
• Contribute to regulatory implementation plans, aligning business needs with compliance objectives.
• Participate in execution of change programs including drafting procedures, updating controls, and documenting workflows.
• Identify and implement necessary technology and tools to support the underlying process
Business
• Translate regulatory requirements into detailed business and operational requirements, working closely with operations, technology, and front office teams.
• Act as the business product owners for regulatory onboarding requirements
• Support documentation of current-state and future-state process flows, identifying necessary adjustments to comply with new regulations.
• Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) for new systems or control enhancements required to meet regulatory mandates.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, facilitate working group discussions, and ensure consistent understanding of requirements across departments.
• Maintain clear and structured communication channels among all stakeholders to track progress and escalate issues where needed
Processes
• Maintain comprehensive project trackers, dashboards, and issue logs related to regulatory implementation activities.
• Prepare reports, executive summaries, and presentations for internal governance forums, risk committees, and regulatory updates.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of regulatory records, implementation evidence, and process documentation for audit readiness.

Risk Management
• Identify and escalate any discrepancies, inconsistencies, or potential compliance risks identified during the process to the relevant forums and stakeholder groups.
• Provide regular updates to senior management, regulatory governance forums, and internal auditors on campaign progress, completion rates, and outstanding risks.
• Document and track remediation issues, aging exceptions, and associated risk mitigation actions.
• Constantly review and resolve the risks arising from policy, process, system and procedures with an aim to improve the risk assessment quality, efficiency and effectiveness and meet the required regulatory and internal standards
Governance
• Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework in which the Group operates and the regulatory requirements and expectations relevant to the role.
• Responsible for delivering effective governance in compliance with applicable internal policies and external laws and regulations, overseeing changes in business controls as required.
• Maintain documentation that supports audit trails and demonstrates adherence to governance frameworks for both initiatives.

Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• 3–6 years of experience in financial services, ideally in regulatory change management, compliance, client onboarding, or markets operations.
• Good understanding of financial markets products (e.g., fixed income, equities, OTC derivatives, FX) and their regulatory implications.
• Experience working on regulatory programs (e.g., CFTC Swap Dealer rules, EMIR, MiFID II).
• Ability to understand and dissect regulatory text and identify business impacts.
• Experience supporting large-scale regulatory or compliance programs in cross-functional environments.
• Familiarity with documenting workflows, control points, and policy requirements.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with business tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Tableau, Visio).
• Clear and confident communicator with excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy, especially in regulatory interpretation and documentation.
