Job Summary

•    We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Engg. Analyst with 10+ years of experience for the initiatives within our Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) Centre of Excellence. This role involves end-to-end development of innovative, high-impact projects involving blockchain infrastructure, digital assets, and enterprise-grade integrations. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of deep technical expertise skills to drive product delivery across emerging technologies and regulated environments

•    The ideal candidate will have a strong background in JSON, XML, SQL, payments, account statements, and compliance. Knowledge of API design, implementation, and security best practices is required. Additionally, a beginner-level understanding of blockchain technology, particularly Ethereum, is desirable. Analyst will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring that our projects meet client requirements and comply with industry standards and Agile methodologies and practices. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
•    Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements
•    Analyse and translate business needs into technical specifications and detailed stories.
•    Ensure requirements are clearly understood by both business and technical teams.
•    Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success

•    Agile Methodology:
•    Implement and advocate for Agile methodologies within the team.
•    Work closely with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, and development teams to ensure efficient and effective Agile practices

•    Data Management:
•    Utilize JSON and XML for data interchange between systems.
•    Write and execute SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyse data.
•    Ensure data integrity and accuracy across various platforms

•    Payments and Account Statements:
•    Analyse payment processes and account statement generation.
•    Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Responsibilities

•    API Management and Security:
•    Analyse, Design, implementation, and maintenance of APIs.
•    Ensure APIs are secure, scalable, and well-documented.
•    Collaborate with development teams to integrate APIs into various systems.
•    Implement security best practices to protect API endpoints and data.
•    Conduct regular security assessments and audits of API

•    Compliance:
•    Ensure all business processes adhere to regulatory requirements.
•    Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address any issues.

•    Blockchain and Ethereum:
•    Support projects involving blockchain technology, with a focus on Ethereum.
•    Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in blockchain.
•    Assist in the integration of blockchain solutions into existing systems.

•    The ability to interpret and align all responsible applications under the Groups technology and security framework, identify key issues based and put in place appropriate controls and measure.

Governance  
•    Awareness and understanding of the regulatory framework, around infrastructure hosting and data management for client facing applications, and the regulatory requirements and expectations for the Bank.  Ensure application design considerations are taken based on this.
•    Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. Promote and embed a culture of openness, trust and risk awareness where ethical, legal, regulatory and policy complaint conduct is the norm.


Regulatory & Business Conduct

Qualifications

•    Masters or engineering background

Role Specific Technical Competencies

•    Strong proficiency in backend development using Python or Golang, Solidity, RESTful API design, and microservice architectures 
•    DLT Use Cases: Demonstrated understanding of DLT applications such as Real World Asset (RWA) tokenization, Cross-Border Payments, Decentralized Identity (DID), and smart contract-based financial products.
•    DevOps & Deployment: Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm. Proven track record deploying systems on AWS EKS or Azure AKS using CI/CD pipelines.
•    Cryptography & Security: Knowledge of cryptographic primitives including public/private key infrastructure, symmetric/asymmetric encryption, digital signatures, and secure key management.
