Job Summary
• we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior mlops engineer with expertise in databricks and advanced python development for machine learning applications. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in operationalizing machine learning models, building scalable pipelines, and developing robust python-based solutions to support ml workflows. You will collaborate with data scientists, data engineers, and software developers to deploy, monitor, and optimize machine learning systems in production environments.
Key Responsibilities
• 10+ years of experience leading a microservice platform engineering solution, automation, SRE.
• Strong belief in working with agile methodology and practices to manage a key middleware of the bank that manages large domain integration solutions.
• Hands-on experience in implementing automated solutions with python, shell scripting, ansibles.
• Hands-on experience in atleast one language choice of Java, JavaScript, Scala, Python.
• Hands-on experience and deep experience in CI/CD tooling such as Azure DevOps, Jenkin, Jira, Ansible.
• Working knowledge of microservice development and deployment architectures in the industry.
• Working knowledge of OIDC, oAuth 2.0, Tokenization framework, MFA, Identity Management, Cryptography.
• Experience in DevOps with exposure to CI/CD tools such as ADO, Git, Ansible is a must.
• Experience with Unix host operating systems, scripting (Bash/Shell or PowerShell) & networking is a must
• Working experience of APM for large service platform with Prometheus, ELK , Graphana. He must also have ability to architect and specify the best practice for implementation within the team.
• Experience with containers as well as container platform such as Podman, Docker and Kubernetes
• Working knowledge of database systems of oracle or Postgre. Especially deployment and maintainability of the code within context of CI/CD.
• Ensuring that all relevant platforms are being efficiently and appropriately supported in SCB Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) toolchains, including identifying opportunities for toolchain and operational practise improvement and refinement, and ensuring that ‘infrastructure as code’ deployment mechanisms are common and portable across Cloud and non-Cloud environments
• Platform estate management including license / support subscription oversight, control and best utilization, automation of estate reporting and management, including close collaboration with other Platforms and ITIL Team team/product leads to ensure that Cloud Support needs are covered in line with Bank strategy and policy
• Supporting adoption of containers and container control frameworks
• Incident Management for issues related to platform, acting as senior escalation and control point for Support (and wider Platforms Teams) and driving service restoration and stability during significant incidents on the platform.

• Understand the bank’s platform technologies and strategy. Meet the automation expectations to enhance the Ci/CD lifecycle, from development to deployment and monitoring.

• Collaborate with application delivery teams to adopt and implement pipeline solutions, enhancing delivery efficiency and operational maturity.

• Understand the bank’s software delivery processes and implement Devops solutions that align with compliance and security requirements.
People & Talent
• Collaborate with diverse engineers in sprint delivery, create technical documentation, prepare training materials, provide technical support, and conduct sessions to onboard and accelerate adoption by application delivery teams.
Risk Management
• Understand bank’s risk management framework and embed that into the technology solution being delivered.
Governance
• Understand bank’s software delivery & quality assurance framework and assist in solutioning in respective governance activity.
